Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in Inter Milan’s last match in Series A against Atalanta, but his future with the Italian giants remains unsure.
He stated after the Atalanta match that, “It was nice to end like this. It couldn’t have gone better. Will I play with Milito? We’ll see. I don’t know. If something will happen, it has to happen after this game. We’ll see what happens, I don’t know anything yet.”

Inter has dominated Series A the last few years, but they have been big underachievers in the Champions league. Inter would love to have him back, as they would be stacked next season with him and Genoa’s Diego Milito, who will be at Inter next season. Ibrahimovic won the top scorer award this year (Capocannoniere), in Series A while Milito was just one goal behind.
When asked about his future with Inter, Ibrahimovic stated, “I don’t know, I’ve done everything I could in Italy. When I came to Italy, many criticized me, they said I was a fantastic player but that I didn’t score enough. Now I’ve silenced them by winning the top-scorer’s title. I couldn’t have done better than this.”
Ibrahimovic is originally from Bosnia, but us a Swedish national that will be playing for Sweden, as they try to qualify for the World Cup next summer.
It is hard to imagine Inter’s attack without Ibrahimovic and if he is matched with Milito it may be a match made in heaven. Inter has been a major disappointment in the Champions League and even they have won the Italian Series A title the past few years they have not played well in European competition. Keeping Ibra should be high on Inter’s long list of off-season moves.
