Juventus has had a great season and they have a 9-point cushion for first place in Serie A and they are still alive in the Champions League. On the other side of the coin Inter Milan’s season has been up and down and they are in 5th place in the league table. Inter needs to finish strong to finish in the top 4 and automatically qualify for the Champions League next season. Inter is tied with Roma in 5th place 4 points behind 4th place Fiorentina.
Earlier this season Inter Milan pulled off a shocker handing Juventus a rare home loss losing 3-1.
Both teams should be well rested for this match, as there has been a break for World Cup qualifiers and Inter has not played since March 14th and Juventus has not played since the 16th.
Juve has played great on both sides of the pitch this season, as they have scored the 2nd most goals in Serie A (57) and they have conceded the fewest (18). Inter has scored 44 goals this season and they have conceded 37.
In the earlier match up between these 2 teams when Inter scored the big upset the team’s leading scorer in Diego Milito scored twice. However, he is out for the season with an injury and he will be missed.

Inter is 2-1-1 in their last 4 Serie A matches and while Milito is out their offense came alive scoring 4 goals in their last match a Europa League encounter with Tottenham.
In their last 3 matches Juventus has not played great on the offensive side of the pitch with 5 goals, but in that span they have not conceded a goal. G Gianluigi Buffon has been playing like he did a few years back when he was the best goalie in the world. He anchors a solid Juve defense, but he will not keep a clean sheet in this big match.
Rodrigo Palacio and Antonio Cassano have combined for 16 goals on the season and these are the guys that have to step up for Inter. Juve plays a great game in the midfield and Inter Milan has to play well in the midfield and not allow Juve to dominate the time of possession. That will be hard since Inter has a few MF banged up.
Juve has a very balanced offense with 8 players that have at least 5 goals led by Sebastian Giovinco and Mirko Vucinic, who have 7 goals each.
Juventus leads Serie A with 9 road wins and overall on the road they are 9-2-3. Inter Milan is 7-4-3 at home this season.
Juve had 22 fouls in the earlier loss to Inter and they have to limit that amount and not allow Inter to get free set pieces.
In their last 10 matches Inter Milan has an Over/Under 2.5 goal record of 7-3 and Juventus is 3-7.

Jason’s Pick to Win: Man I really hate to go against Inter Milan, as they are my team, but have to do so. Juventus is playing in top form and with the defense they have they will thwart the Inter Milan offensive attack. However, while this match will be a close one Juve will be leaving Inter Milan with a win, which will really hurt Inter’s chances to finish in the top 4 in Serie A. Juventus will win this match 2-1.
