Barcelona Has a One-Week Window to Get Cesc Fabregas

Barcelona has been given one week to try to deal for Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal. Fabregas has stated that he would like to go back to Barcelona, but now the Spanish giants have to persuade Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger.
According to a report Barcelona have been given the green light to try to make a deal, but they do not have long to do it.
Fabregas left Barcelona 6 years ago to join Arsenal and has enjoyed a solid run in the Premier League, but it is thought he wants a chance to win the Champions League and Barcelona has a better chance to do that then Arsenal.
Arsenal plays Celtic in the beginning next week in a Champions League qualification game and Barcelona wants to get this deal done and persuade Wenger to deal him before this match. If Fabregas plays in the first leg of the Arsenal vs. Celtic clash, Barcelona will not be able to sign him so a deal has to get done soon.
Even though Fabregas would like to go back to Camp Nou it is a deal that is not likely. Wenger will not want another solid player to leave the Arsenal fold after they already lost Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure, who were both dealt to Manchester City during the summer.
It is believed that it will take a transfer fee between 40 million or 50 million to get Fabregas.
Barcelona dangled Eidur Gudjohnsen to be part of the deal, but Wenger was not interested. It would greatly help Barcelona if they could land Fabregas, as he would shore up their midfield and help them keep pace with the newly stacked Real Madrid squad before the La Liga season begins.
