The countries for the 2010 World Cup are set and there are some surprising teams and some of the usual suspects that will be playing next summer in South Africa.
Here are the countries that have qualified for next summer, how many times they have played in the World Cup tournaments since the 1st competition in Uruguay in 1930, and the winners of the World Cup and the year they won.

Netherlands – 9th World Cup
England – 13th World Cup – 1 time champion (1966)
Spain – 13th World Cup
Germany – 17th World Cup – 3 time champion (1954, 1974 & 1990)
Denmark – 4th World Cup
Italy – 17th World Cup – 3 time champion (1934, 1938 & 1982)
Serbia – 11th World Cup – Competed as Yugoslavia from 1930 – 1990, and FR Yugoslavia from 1992 – 1998 and Serbia and Montenegro for 2006. This is their 1st appearance as Serbia.
