FTOPS XIII

In August of 2006, FTOPS I debuted with eight events on FullTiltPoker.com. That first FTOPS had guaranteed prize pool of more than $1 million; more recently, FTOPS XII awarding more than $18 million in prize money over 25 events. Starting on August 5, FTOPS XIII will offer more than $16 Million guaranteed prize money over 25 events including: Knockout, Shootout and Turbo events, a Two-Day Event, featuring two days of play and a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million, and the $2.5 million guaranteed Main Event.
Not only can players win their way in cheap through numerous satellite tournaments, any player that makes the final table of any FTOPS XIII event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket. On top of that, any player that manages to win will receive a jacket, a gold FTOPS jersey and a coveted gold jersey avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker. Still not enough? If you manage to finish 1st on the FTOPS XIII Leaderboard, you will win a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize package which includes entry to every FTOPS XIV Event (except the Two-Day Event; worth approximately $7,500). Finally, if you are unfortunate enough to be the bubble boy in any FTOPS event, you will automatically qualify for the “Bouncebackability” Freeroll where a buy-in to the FTOPS XIV Main Event will be up for grabs. The “Bouncebackability” Freeroll will take place on Saturday, August 22nd at 15:00 ET (20:00 GMT).
If your bankroll can’t afford all the buy-ins for FTOPS XIII, you might be interested in the MiniFTOPS. MiniFTOPS tournaments echo the 25 FTOPS XIII events but cost only 1/10th of the buy-in. These tournaments feature huge fields and more than $3 million in guaranteed prize money. Starting on September 9th, MiniFTOPS and will feature the MiniFTOPS Two-Day Event, a $250 + $16 buy-in and at least $400K guaranteed, and the MiniFTOPS Main Event, with a $50 + $5 buy-in and $500K in guaranteed prize money.
Starting on August 17th, players will be able to satellite their way into MiniFTOPS events for as little as $0.50 or 50 Full Tilt Points. Those players who manage to make the final table of a MiniFTOPS event will receive a limited-edition MiniFTOPS jacket, while winners will receive a jacket and a silver MiniFTOPS jersey. The player who finishes first on the MiniFTOPS Leaderboard will receive a special prize package including entry to every FTOPS XIV event (except the Two-Day Event- worth approximately $7,500).
Players will also be able to take a shot at $100K in guaranteed prize money in the FTOPS – Ante Up for Africa charity tournament. All tournament entry fees will be donated to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. The event will be hosted by Friend of Full Tilt and Academy Award nominated actor Don Cheadle and takes place on Saturday, August 15th at 15:00 ET. Players can buy in directly for $100 + $20 or satellite their way in for as little as $1 or 50 Full Tilt Points.
