The Vikings continue their pursuit of a playoff berth while the Titans are just looking for something positive to build on, heading into Sunday afternoon’s inter-conference bout in Nashville.
Minnesota is coming off a strange game last week in which it failed to score a touchdown but won anyway. Meanwhile, Tennessee scored two touchdowns last week but lost.
The Vikings are favored by a short touchdown on the road for Sunday. But home dogs haven’t been very dangerous so far this season.

Vikings-Titans Betting Preview
Minnesota rides a two-game winning “streak” into this Sunday following an ugly 12-7 decision at Jacksonville last Sunday. The Vikings, playing through three Sam Darnold interceptions, trailed the Jaguars 7-6 well into the fourth quarter. But Minnesota drove 68 yards to a go-ahead field goal, added another, and held on from there.
However, in scoring zero touchdowns, the Vikings came up short ATS as 7-point favorites.
Minnesota actually dominated play, out-gaining Jacksonville 402-143, winning time of possession by a 42:18 split. But Darnold threw three picks in Jags territory, two in the red zone, to keep things interesting. Fortunately for the Vikings, the Jaguars, playing with their backup QB, proved totally inept.
Meanwhile, Tennessee failed to pick up a second straight win last Sunday, losing at the Chargers 27-17. The Titans, as 8-point dogs, only trailed 13-10 late into the third quarter. But they gave up the next 14 points of the game and could not recover.
Tennessee actually played the Chargers very evenly across the stat sheet. However, a missed field goal that led to a Los Angeles touchdown in the second quarter was the game’s key turning point.

Minnesota and Darnold got off to such a great start this season, but perhaps both were playing a bit over their heads. Over his last two games, Darnold has committed six turnovers. Also, the Vikings are a little banged up on offense. Meanwhile, Tennessee can run the ball a bit and owns the No. 1 defense in the League. We’ll take the Titans plus the points.
