Two teams coming off their best performances of the season meet when the Steelers take on the Texans in Houston Sunday afternoon. Pittsburgh just won a game in Las Vegas last week while the Texans just shocked the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

The Week 4 NFL betting market opened Pittsburgh as a three-point road favorite over Houston, with an over/under of right around 42. Early betting action then edged that total down to 41.

Texans Betting Preview

Houston just picked up the first victory of the Coach Ryans/QB Stroud era, a 37-17 upset at Jacksonville last Sunday. The Texans, playing as eight-point underdogs, drew first blood with a touchdown on their second drive of the game and led 17-0 at the half. Houston allowed the Jaguars to get within 17-10 late in the third quarter but immediately re-asserted control by returning the ensuing kick-off for a touchdown and held on from there for the W.

The Texans got out-gained by Jacksonville 404-366, although more than half the yardage the Houston defense allowed came while protecting a big lead. The Texans also converted 9/15 on 3rd downs and won the turnover battle 2-0, creating at least a +6 points differential.

Now, hows Houston gonna follow that up?

The Texans opened this season with a 25-9 loss at Baltimore, although they didnt play all that badly that day. They then played badly in a 31-20 loss at home to Indianapolis.
