Pre-Week 13 Notes: Browns RB Jamal Lewis has been placed on the IR with post concussion symptoms. He’s done for the season and is likely to retire. Rumors out of D.C. are that Skins RB Clinton Portis may be done for the year. Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is likely OUT for this week’s game as he too is suffering from a concussion. This would be a huge loss for the Eagles. Rumors out of the big easy are that the Saints are not planning to bring RB Reggie Bush back next season. Panthers QB Jake Delhomme is OUT this week with a finger injury. Matt Moore will take over the starting job. Don’t expect to see Jake back on the field this year. He’s flat out stunk.

Post Week 10/Pre Week 11 Injuries: Broncos QB Kyle Orton left the game with an ankle injury and is doubtful to play in Week 11. This is huge news as Chris Simms looked horrible in relief. Falcons RB Michael Turner suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s game. His status for next week is uncertain however we expect him to miss a couple starts. Jerious Norwood who has been suffering from a hip injury or Jason Snelling would replace him as the starting tailback. Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown suffered two injuries in Sunday’s game vs. TB. One to his foot and another to his ankle. He is OUT for Thursday’s game vs. the Panthers. Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Troy Polamalu hurt his knee vs. Cinci and is likely out for a few weeks. This is a huge blow to Pitt’s defense. Look to possibly bet against them as their D is completely different without the hard hitting Polamalu in the lineup. Seahawks RB Julius Jones has a broken rib and internal bleeding having to do with his lung and is likely out for a couple weeks minimum. Look for Justin Forsett to replace him. Ravens defensive stud Terrell Suggs will miss a couple week’s with an injury. Eagles RB Brian Westbrook is OUT with a concussion.
Signing: The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to sign free agent RB Larry Johnson Monday.
