Week 3 Line Moves 9/25 9:54 AM ET: Public money has driven the Raiders up to -1.5 from pickem. The public has been all over the Cardinals since the line came out, but sharp action kept the line at -4. New injury reports have the line moving Arizona way with -4.5 being the norm now. The Ravens have gone from pickem to -2.5 with sharp money rolling in on the visitor. The public has been backing the Giants all week but the line is going the other way dropping to -3. GB has started to drop moving off of opening of -8.5 to under a TD at -6.5. The 49ers are getting the majority of the wagers but the pros are starting to come in on Seattle driving the line up to -10.5 at some of the sharper books. The Tampa Bay and Dallas games are others going against the public with the Bucs line making a small move down to -3.5 and the Cowboys falling off of the TD to -6.5 at the majority of the betting boards.

Week 3 Injuries (9/25): Arizona DT Frostee Rucker and G Evan Mathis are out. Back-up DT Robert Nkemdiche is unlikely to play. Atlanta SLB De’Vondre Campbell is out. Baltimore CB Jerraud Powers is in line to make his season debut. RB Kenneth Dixon is out. Buffalo Starting LT Cordy Glenn and WR Sammy Watkins are out and CB Ronald Darby is considered doubtful. Carolina – RB Jonathan Stewart is out. Chicago – QB Jay Cutler is out. Cincinnati – . Cleveland – Josh McCown is out so Cody Kessler will start. Promising rookie WR Corey Coleman and C Cameron Erving are out. Dallas -. Denver LB Demarcus Ware, RT Donald Stephenson and TE Virgil Green are all out. Detroit – RB Ameer Abdullah, LB DeAndre Levy and DE Ezekiel Ansah are out. Back-up LB Antwione Williams is doubtful. Week 2 Line Moves 9/17 (10:18 AM ET): Not a ton of movement on the lines early. The Patriots opened at 5.5 and moved to 6.5 but sharp money is starting to send it down again with -6 now the consensus line. The Cardinals are a big play among teaser bettors having the sharper books post Cards -7.5 plus money. Denver has continued to climb with many -6.5s now on the board against public action. The Packers were as high as -3 +102, but sharp action is coming on the Vikings with some books now offering the game at pickem. Wise guys are also hitting the Bears with the line moving to -3.5 at the outs who cater to professional players.

Super Bowl 50 Game Previews and Predictions

Carolina Panthers vs. Denver Broncos Pick (6:30PM EST) – 2/7
Line moves: The point spread on Super Bowl 50 opened with the Panthers as a 3-point favorite and quickly shot up to as high as 6 points. Currently the recreational books are hanging a Carolina -6 with the sharp books putting up -5 to -5.5 on the board. The public loves the Panthers ATS with 63% of the action landing on them. The total opened at 45 and has fallen a point to 44 or 44.5 at the majority of the shops.

Weather: Sunny skies with a temperature in the low 70s. Winds are expected to be mild around 8 MPH.

Injury Notes: Carolina WLB Thomas Davis broke his forearm in the NFC title game and after surgery is expected to not only play but start. DE Jared Allen returns after missing the last game with a foot injury. Denvers secondary has been dinged up, Especially LCB Chris Harris and SS TJ Ward and FS Darian Stewart, but all practiced in full late in the week.

New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos Pick (3:05PM EST) – 1/24
Line Moves: Available closer to game time.

Weather: An 18% chance of showers turning to snow later in the game. Light winds with a kickoff temperature in the low 40s.

Injury Notes (Updated): Its the same old Patriots who list a ridiculous 21 players on their injury report with 16 of the players listed as questionable. The defense has lost MLB Jared Mayo (IR) and SLB Dont’a Hightower (Knee) and WLB Jamie Collins (Back) and sack leader DE Chandler Jones (Leg) are now expected to play. Denver is very healthy for this time of the season with really just Chris Harris Jr. dealing with a shoulder issue but he is expected to play.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers Pick (6:40PM EST) – 1/24

Line Moves: Details posted closer to game time.

Weather: Light breeze with a kickoff temperature in the mid 30s in Carolina.

Injury Notes: All of the Cardinals active players were reported as practicing in full on Friday. The Panthers will be without DE Jared Allen, but back up RB Fozzy Whittaker returns after missing three games to add some depth.

NFL Divisional Round Game Previews and Predictions

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots Pick (4:35PM EST) – 1/16
Line moves: The Patriots opened as a 5-point favorite and have dropped to -4.5 at some shops. Betting has been close to even with the public siding to KC.

Weather: Chance of light rain early and light wind maxing out at 7MPH. Kickoff temperature is forecasted to be 34 F.

Injury Notes: Kansas City LG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is out and C Mitch Morse remains out. The Chiefs wideout situation is not good with WR Jeremy Maclin missing the last three practices with an ankle injury and is expected to be a GTD while fellow WR Albert Wilson is questionable, but should play. On defense OLBs Tamba Hali and Justin Houston are both questionable, but are expected to play. New Englands OL continues to be an issue with RG Tre Jackson out and RT Sebastian Vollmer expected to be a GTD. WRs Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, TE Rob Gronkowski and LB Donta Hightower are expected to play. DE Chandler Jones disciplinary is a question mark.

Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals Pick (8:15PM EST)

Line Moves: This line opened with the Cardinals as a 7-point favorite and has held there at the majority of the sportsbooks. The public has a slight lean on the Packers with the sharps are mostly passing on this game with the ones who are playing it landing on the Cardinals. The total has dropped a point to 49 from its 50 opener.

Weather: Mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 50s.

Injury Notes: Green Bay WR Davante Adams has been ruled out. LT David Bakhtiari is expected to return after missing two games. Top CB Sam Shields looks likely to return after being sidelined since Dec 11 but still needs to pass concussion protocol. Arizona is relatively healthy with all five of the players on the injury report listed as probable or questionable expected to play.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Carolina Panthers Pick (1:05PM EST) – 1/17

Line Moves: The line has dropped from the Panthers -3 to -1.5 mostly in response to the news of likelihood of Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch’s return. Early action was all Carolina.

Weather: Cloudy with very light winds and temperatures in the mid 40s.

Injury Notes: Seattle is reporting once again that RB Marshawn Lynch will play, but he has left with the team to Charlotte this time around, so he should be dressed and play this week for the first time since Nov 15. Seahawks TE Luke Wilson is expected back after missing two games. Carolina CB Charles Tillman is out leaving them thin out CB after losing back up CB Benwikere in December. RB Jonathan Stewart is set to return as will WR Ted Ginn.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos Pick (4:40PM EST)

Line Moves: The Broncos opened on the board at -7 and have now climbed to a consensus line of -7.5 at the sportsbooks.

Weather: Partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 30s with light winds.

Injury Notes: Pittsburgh WR Antonio Brown and RB DeAngelo Williams have been ruled out. QB Ben Roethlisberger practiced in full on Friday and is expected to start. Denver QB Peyton Manning is expected to start with QB Brock Osweiler backing him up. All other players on the injury listed as probable practiced in some form on Friday and are expected to be on the field on Sunday.


NFL Wild Card Game Previews and Predictions

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans Pick (4:20PM EST) – 1/9
Line Moves: Kansas City opened at -3and was quickly bet up to -3.5 before falling to -3 against a public bias.
Weather: Low 60s wind expected to be 15 MPH and may hit 20 MPH.
Injury Notes: Kansas City will be without C Mitch Morse but should get back arguably their best pass rusher in OLB Justin Houston. Fellow OLB Dee Ford is expected to play and OLB Tamba Hali has a good shot to suit up. Chiefs FS Houston Husain Abdullah who hasnt played since November is expected to be a go. Houston LT Duane Brown is out and OLB Jadeveon Clowney will probably be a game time decision, but should be considered very iffy after missing two practices this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Pick (8:15PM EST)
Line Moves: Pittsburgh opened at 2.5 but quickly moved to -3 pus money before settling now at -3 -110 at most shops.

Weather: High 40s with a high probability of moderate rain showers.

Injury Notes: Pittsburgh RB DeAngelo Williams has been ruled out and RB Fitz Toussaint is expected to get most of the carries. His numbers on the season are 18 carries for 42 yards with the lions share coming last week against the Browns. Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton remains out so QB A.J. McCarron will make his fourth straight start.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings Pick (1:05PM EST) – 1/10
Line Moves: Seattle opened as a -4.5 point spread favorite moved to as high as -6 at the more recreational sportsbooks with reports that RB Marshawn Lynch would play. Lynch has now been ruled out and the line has fallen to Vikings -4. The total has seen a 2.5-point drop from its 42 opener to -39.5 at the majority of shops.

Weather: Temperature is expected to be a frosty 4 degrees at kickoff. Wind shouldnt be much of a factor at 5-8 MPH but will effect wind chill numbers.

Injuries: Seattle RB Marshawn has been RULED OUT after reports were out as late as Friday night that he would play. LT Russell Okung and RG J.R. Sweezy are expected to return and start. Minnesota NT Linval Joeseph should be back after missing last week which will allow Sharrif Floyd to go back to his LDT spot after filling in for Joeseph last week at nose tackle.

Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Redskins Pick (4:40PM EST)

Line Moves: This game opened on the board with Washington a -1-point favorite and has held there at most shops although some of the recreational books are hanging Packers -1. The total has fallen one point to 45.5.

Weather: High 50s with a chance of rain. Winds are expected to be 12-15 MPH.

Injury Notes: Green Bay CB Sam Shields is doubtful and LT David Bakhtiari will be a game time decision. Washington C Kory Lichtensteiger is expected back after missing 8 games while Matt Jones is unlikely but hasnt been ruled out. RB Alfred Morris should coming off of a 100 yard game against Dallas is expected to get the majority of the carries against Green Bay.
