The Arizona Cardinals have been a tricky team to bet on this season, as they look poor on paper, but always seem to be hanging around. That trend appears to be falling off as NFL teams are figuring out they can run all over them. Houston looked mighty good in giving the Saints a scare on Monday night in New Orleans. They travel home to take on their AFC South division foe Jacksonville. The spread is a large 8.5 points which is usually a go against in divisional games, but with a rookie making his first NFL start it may be too low. Check out which side of the line Loot is playing.

The Lions amassed 477 yards of offense in Week 1 but faded late to leave Arizona with a 27-27 tie. The Chargers gained 435 yards themselves but their defense was exploited on the ground allowing 203 yards on 33 carries. Early wagering action has over 80% of bettors laying the wood with the Cowboys this week and for good reason! Dallas is excellent on both sides of the ball. The team finally has a good defense. Bookies are likely to be angry with oddsmakers after this one plays out.

At first glance, this game appears to be a “bug meets windshield” scenario after the ‘Phins sent Laremy Tunsil packing to Houston. One has to wonder if Miami management will be in tank mode with hopes of gaining the top pick in the 2020 NFL draft. The bookies don’t think so though, as evidenced by this line only moving from 3.5 to 7. NFL players perform with pride and don’t give up (not early in the season at least!) After all, it is a home game for Miami. Don’t expect the Dolphins to go down easy, despite the media playing up the “mutiny” angle if Tunsil was to get traded.

The NFL season opens with potentially a good match-up in Week 1 with the Packers battling the Bears in the Windy City.
