The New York Giants march to a potential number 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft continued last Sunday as the franchise lost their 9th straight game in a 35-14 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens. As everyone is aware, the Giants have been plagued by issues at the quarterback position and have also been hit hard with injuries. In fact, QB Tommy DeVito was knocked out of last week’s loss to the Ravens and replaced by Tim Boyle, who became the 4th different quarterback behind center for the G-men this season.

Boyle, who has less than a handful of starts in his 5-year career, is apparently the only healthy quarterback going into this Sunday’s showdown with the Atlanta Falcons, at least if DeVito remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Either way, the Giants will once again be relatively large underdogs when they take their road trip to Atlanta this weekend. If the Giants fail to capture the upset, the 10-game losing streak will officially become the longest in the franchise’s history!

New York Giants vs. Atlanta Falcons Betting Analysis

Despite the numerous problems for the New York Giants, the Atlanta Falcons are not necessarily playing their best football either. The Falcons squeaked out a 15-9 victory over the Raiders last Monday in what can only be described as an ugly football game on the offensive side of the football. QB Kirk Cousins continued to struggle with just 112 yards of passing. Cousins did throw a touchdown pass, which was his first in the last six games. However, the passing attack continues to show tons of inconsistency, with the lone bright spot coming from RB Bijan Robinson, who has started serving as the workhorse the Falcons drafted him to be two years ago.

For this potentially ugly offensive match-up, the Falcons can continue to put the workload on the legs of Robinson, who draws a dream match-up against the 2nd worst run defense in the league. Robinson, along with backup RB Tyler Allgeier, should find running room against the Giants’ poor defensive front. If that happens, the passing game should open up, but that angle is far less reliable. Still, I see the Falcons rushing attack being the difference here, but I would not be surprised if this is another very ugly offensive match-up between two teams that can only move the football on the ground.
