The New York Giants will travel to FedEX Field in Landover, Maryland to take on the Washington Redskins for a NFC East divisional clash set for primetime on Thanksgiving night. The G-Men will travel to the Nations capital to continue this storied divisional rivalry. The two teams last met here on New Years Day when the Skins welcomed Big Blue. The Giants would leave Landover with a 19-10 victory. The activities are set to kick off at 8:30 PM EST and will be aired across the country on FOX.

The storyline surrounding the Giants is their ability to overachieve when no one expects them to. The G-Men come into this contest off a stunning win in the Meadowlands when the Giants took down the Kansas City Chiefs. The G-Men closed as a double-digit underdog but nevertheless New York would oust Kansas City 12-9 in an overtime spectacle. No touchdowns were scored in the contest but the fixture did not lack excitement. The Giants also own one other win this year when they shocked the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City when they closed as a 13.5-point pup. Despite their climactic win last week, the Giants are once again a heavy underdog reflecting the markets lack of faith the Giants can pull another rabbit out of their hat.

The Redskins are thinking about what could have been as they once held a commanding lead against the red hot New Orleans Saints in the Superdome, last Sunday. Despite Washington leading by several scores, the Saints would march on and rally back. New Orleans would escape 34-31 after outscoring the Skins 18-7 in the last quarter of play. Washington has now lost their last two outings after stunning the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field and silencing the 12th Man, two weeks ago. Whilst, the NFC East may be out of reach for the Redskins they have enough wiggle room to make a run to vie for the last wildcard seed at this point. The Giants are in contention for a top draft pick of the NFL Draft.

As we mentioned previously, Big Blue have been subjected to some rather grisly losses in the previous few weeks leading up to their upset of the Chiefs. Between the Rams running wild in the Meadowlands, along with fellow NFC West constituent Seattle doing the same at MetLife Stadium, the Giants looked dead in the water. Against San Francisco, the Giants were also utterly dominated. Thus, the stock in this outfit had reached the cellar and positioned them to be a snake in the grass for those looking to bite the apple on KC. However, the Giants are now back on the national radar after orchestrating another statement upset. After defeating the Broncos in Denver, the G-Men were subjected to a lot of love in their follow up hosting Seattle. The Hawks would smack the Giants 24-7.

Out of the gate, we have noticed few changes in the market from the opening bell in against the spread scenarios. On the contrary, in Over/Under markets, the number has remained been driven up by three points to reveal action on the Over. As a result, the market has tried to pivot and entice action on the Under to court takers.

Targeting an overreaction is a huge part of our strategy and no team in the NFL could be more prone for such an event than perhaps the Giants. The victory against Kansas City could signal the awakening of these sleeping Giants but its a bit too late for anything like that to take shape. Chances are the Chiefs were in a lull coming in off a bye and made the mistake of taking this dumpster fire lightly. Thats the thing, dumpster fires are easy to put out but you cant let them burn. Washington wont make that mistake be that they will be looking to take out their frustration from last weeks heartbreak on their bitter divisional rivals on national television. The Skins opened with a favorite-friendly number for a reason. Swallow the points.
