Stop passing the chips around METLIFE Stadium in NYC; this joint is all outa salsa! Victor Cruz has stalled and is coasting, Eli looks like a Math teacher at a fantasy camp, and the entire defensive line has been offensive to say the least. Tom Coughlin looks agedjust like 2002, or 03, or 11and the Giants stink right now! The Bears? In Chicagos scheme >>> if they run the ball they can win. Cutler handing it off is much better for the team than Cutler slingin the rock all over the yard. The Bears are off to another Ehh, lets wait and see start and the Giants come in with not much fight in em. Lets take a quick look at who might seize this Thursday nights matchup.
New York stinks right now. Against Chicago, the Giants could keep it close or get blown back to Gotham City. The Giants arent blowing anyone out yet—its mental at this point and a huge conservative approach would mean Protecting the lead instead of Put them away. The Giants O-line is in shambles. In October alone, 5 key moves were made and 4 of them involved the O-line. The Giants passing game is 10th in the league in yards but the Giants are dead last in rushing yards. What does that mean? Eli and the receivers are doing their job in spite of a terrible offensive line/running back tandem! Where the crap is Brandon Jacobs? Jacobs filled in last week versus the Eagles and looked like he was planning for retirement. The source of Jacobs problems might be DeSean Jackson disease after the Giants only signed Jacobs to a 1-year deal. Ahmad Bradshaw has been a tremendous loss to the Giants (released after 2012 season in favor of David Wilson) and this Giants team might be a locker room problem as a result.
The Bears are the regular collection of freaks and goofballs playing snoozy football and looking 9-7 ish. QB Cutler has persisted in his quest to alienate himself from everyone and Brandon Marshall is adding two scoops of Paranoia and Narcissism with his Eggs Napoleon breakfast. Marshall is an extremely talented athlete placed under a powder keg head. Cutler wont target me and Wheres my yards started falling from Marshalls house of cards recently guaranteeing the Bears will go NOWHERE even if they happen to make the playoffs. Overall, Chicago has been pretty so-so in every department and it looks like a final week game to win or lose for a Wild Card playoff spot for the Bears.

The Giants have not closed the deal and look defeated, tired, and searching for answers. The Bears look likejust about every marginal Bears team trotted out the last 15 or so years. One key stat for reflection in this game is: Each game the Bears have lost, Cutler has thrown for over 300 yards and every game the Bears have won, Cutler has thrown for under 300 yards. WR Jeffery, TE Bennett, and CB Tillman are all banged up with Tillman being questionable through gametime. Of the 3, Bennett is probably the most significant injury and if he doesnt play or is limited, Cutler will see 2 linebackers playing a little deeper in coverage choking off angles over the middle for wide-outs. DE Julius Peppers is 75% probable to play and another significant injuryDT Stephen Paea is only 50-50 to play against the Giants. Combining CB Tillmans gimpy status with FS Anthony Walters (outHammy), dont think for a second that Giants wont scheme against the Bears DBs. DT Nate Collins is out with a knee injury and the Bears are spending the rest of this week auditioning anyone and everyone who wants or has wanted to play on the defensive line in the NFL. The Nate Collins injury is HUGE!
The Giants will play a hurry up style to gas the depleted and limping D-Line of the Bears. RB David Wilson is outwho cares? Wilson is the girl you date to make your true love jealous! Lots of points will be scored in Chicago. The amount of pressure opponents have put on the Giants O-line should be exhausted after the Giants continue to move the ball up and down the field. Getting 1st downs and wearing out the Bears injury riddled defense is paramount in this encounter. I believe Eli Manning is smart enough and in the game enough to post tons of points against the Bears. The Bears will counter with a mixture of ground and airbut I see Cutler forced to pass to keep up against this Giants. We all know what happens when Cutler throws for over 300 yardsthats the prediction!
