The Panthers just picked up the first victory of the Coach Reich/QB Young era last week and shoot for No. 2 when they host the Colts Sunday afternoon in Charlotte.
Indianapolis also began this season with a new head coach and a rookie at QB. But they lost Anthony Richardson to injury and have now lost three games in a row.

Indianapolis lugs a three-game losing skid into Sunday after falling at home to New Orleans last Sunday 38-27. The Colts led that game 17-7 midway through the second quarter but trailed at the half 21-20. Indianapolis then gave up the first 14 points of the second half and got back to within one score midway through the fourth but could get no closer.
The Colts produced 371 yards of offense but gave up 511 yards of Saints offense.
Indianapolis started 3-2 this season, with rookie Richardson doing most of the quarterbacking. But he got hurt, out for the season, and now the Colts own three straight defeats against Jacksonville, Cleveland, and New Orleans.
Nine turnovers over its last three games really cost Indianapolis.

The Panthers got out-gained by the Texans 229-224 and out-rushed 110-44 but won the turnover battle 1-0, creating a +3 points differential.
Carolina started 0-6 this season, and only two of those losses came by single digits. But a couple of others could be classified as “close.”
These teams last met four seasons ago, a 38-6 Colts home victory. But that’s a long time ago for both these teams.
