Big D rolls into Kansas City to face the resurgent Chiefs. Clarification: Resurgent after 1 week Kansas City Chiefs! Viewers will be treated to a nice landing from the opening day clouds for the Chiefs when they play the 1st professional team of the 2013 season (No, the Jags do not count!). Big D did something they havent done in a very long time against the NY Giants; make a play in the 4th quarter! The Chiefs won on the road last week giving Head Coach Andy Reid plenty of time and comfort to completely screw the Chiefs offense up! Lets check out this Pro Parade on the Prairie and see who has a shot at keeping the movie going!

Tony Romo is like the really hot girl from high school who has come back from France after putting 20 pounds on! You look, and look, and keep looking—2 weeks later youre still looking—and ya just cant decide whether or not she still has it?? Romo has been like that since he got into the League. Years ago Big D had the No Name Defense. TodayRomo is the I dont know QB. The Giants didnt really help their own cause last week by puking up the football (Coughlin-g up the football!!) but still competing. Victor Cruz is awesome and the Giants are good once again making Dallas win in week 1 a specific Head-Turner no matter how many turnovers Dallas received. Monte Kiffin took over Dallas defense for 2013 and it hasnt really helped all that much. Sure, NY had many turnovers but the cause of each was lack of fundamental football by ball carriers combined with receivers being out of position. Dallas won; no doubt about it! But NY did quite a bit to help Dallas along the way.

The Chiefswell, played the Jags and won on the roadnuff said! The Jags are absolutely horrible again! How the crap does a NFL team score 2 points in an entire game? Yes, I know, Safety but CMon; when you have the Rep of being a horrible team you cant have a Deuce on the Home-side when the stinkin gun blows!!! Thats almost like getting beat in UNO by Grandma—it just cant happen. The Chiefs had a tougher time finding parking spaces than they had with the Jags. Dexter McCluster is an explosive, spectacular, and smart player giving the Chiefs some hope against the better NFL teams (as in: ALL of them except the Jags). Jamaal Charles played well until he got nicked and Alex Smith looked impressive against the team from the N. Florida area (I cant even say the name!!). The Chiefs only had 291 yards of total offense so lets not go crazy thinking about buying Playoff tickets anytime soon. The brightest spot? Andy Reid didnt have to get involved in any important decisions from the opening snap on! Lets see who has a chance of being crowned King between these 2 storied franchises.

We arent sure what were getting yet with the Chiefs because theyve only had 1 scrimmage thus far in the 2013 season. Dallas? The Cowboys played hard and made plays at the end! Even if the plays were gift-wrapped for Dallas the fact is: Dallas made the plays when the opportunities presented themselves! Romo has sore ribs and hes looking I dont know halfway decent-ishI think??!! Jerry Jones is still in-charge of the Cowboys and that is a massive Good Morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Night for all Cowboy playoff hopes. But the Cowboys aren’t playing the Playoffs this week; theyre playing the Chiefs. Andy Reid is the lynch-pin in this game in my opinion. If Reid is called upon to make any decision other than the type of shampoo and conditioner the team should use, the Chiefs will be in HUGE trouble. I do believe Reid will try and coach and that means sadness, angst, and despair for Chief fans everywhere! Big D by 3 TDs!!!!

Tim’s Pick to Cover the Point Spread: Dallas +2.5 and SU!!
