Like the Cowboys and nervous about laying that many points on the road? Did you know you can bet 19 point NFL teasers at Wagerweb Sportsbook? Imagine making Dallas a +8.5 underdog in this matchup!
Last Thursday, the Carolina Panthers dropped to 1-8 SU on the season with a disappointing 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears. For the 3rd straight game, the Panthers offense was held to 15 points or less. Against a subpar defense in Chicago, the Panthers’ offense produced just 213 total yards of offense. Rookie QB Bryce Young, who was the No.1 pick in the NFL Draft, was sacked three times and hit just 21 of 38 passing for 185 yards as his struggles continued. On Sunday, the struggling Panthers offense will be faced with a daunting match-up when they host the Dallas Cowboys at Bank of America Stadium.
The visiting Cowboys are coming off another blowout victory over the New York Giants. Last week, I urged bettors to lay the points with the Cowboys despite one of the most lopsided betting lines of the season. The Cowboys covered the 17-point spread with ease in a 49-17 blowout led by a dominant defensive effort combined with QB Dak Prescott’s best performance of the season, which resulted in 5 combined touchdowns. For this week’s road trip to Charlotte, both the Cowboys defense and Prescott face advantageous match-ups yet again. Once again, the Cowboys will be relatively large 10.5-point favorites, and, once again, bettors have a lot of reasons to lay the points!

Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers Betting Analysis
In the last few weeks, the Cowboys offense has emphasized making WR CeeDee Lamb the focal point of the offense. Earlier this year, I would argue that the offense was attempting to make RB Tony Pollard the centerpiece. With that said, the Cowboys’ passing attack has shown tremendous success in recent weeks by peppering Lamb. Not only has Lamb been sensational with the extra opportunities, but the Cowboys’ passing attack has opened up, which has produced multiple big performances from TE Jake Ferguson and WR Brandin Cooks.
In this week’s match-up, the Cowboys can literally choose their poison. The Panthers’ defense has simply been equally bad against the run and the pass. RB Tony Pollard will have opportunities in the run-game. More importantly, Dak Prescott and the emerging passing attack will have the best match-up through the air. Simply put, I don’t believe the Panthers have the personnel to slow down Dallas this week barring a multi-turnover type of game. Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ defensive success has been well-documented this season. The Cowboys’ defense is the best in the league towards creating pressure on opposing quarterbacks and generating turnovers. The pressure and the turnovers have both been a struggle for rookie QB Bryce Young. Needless to say, I don’t think there is any way that Young exceeds expectations in this match-up!

Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers Betting Prediction
Similar to last week’s match-up, the Cowboys have big advantages on both sides of the football with similar upside. Based on the pressure the Cowboys’ defense generates upfront and from what I have seen throughout the season from Bryce Young, I don’t think there are many scenarios where the Panthers’ offense can keep this one within reach. Lay the points with confidence!
Jay’s Pick: Take the Cowboys -10.5
