Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles Bets

Where: Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia, PA)
When: Sunday, January 26th at 3:00 PM EST
Watch: FOX

Andrew Lawrence breaks down his favorite prop bets, including team scoring props and player performances, for the NFL Conference Championships.

Jalen Hurts – Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

The main focus of the Washington Commanders in this game will have to be stopping Saquan Barkley’s production in the running game. That is a tall task for a defense that, on the season, ranks 30th in rushing yards allowed to opponents. Nonetheless, I expect Washington to load the box and use an extra down lineman whenever possible. The only problem with this strategy is that Jalen Hurts himself is a capable rusher. Barkley will get his usual 20+ touches, but I expect the Eagles to throw some designed QB runs into the fold to keep the defense honest. In his two previous games against the Commanders, Hurts has posted rushing lines of 41 and 39 on just 13 combined attempts. The volume for Hurts may not be there, but he will pick up some chunk yardage and easily surpass this line.

Dyami Brown – Over 3.5 Receptions (-110)

One of the main reasons that the Commanders have been able to sustain their level of play in the post-season has been the emergence of Dyami Brown as a reliable target for rookie QB Jayden Daniels. While the Eagles do boast the number one pass defense in the league, I do not expect that to stop division rival Washington from limiting their pass attempts. In the two regular-season meetings, Jayden Daniels threw the ball 32+ times, meaning that there will be plenty of targets to go around. Dyami Brown has gone over this number in both playoff matchups and will likely draw a more favorable defensive focus, as the emphasis will be on limiting Terry McLaurin’s explosive plays. Look for 5-6 catches from Brown this Sunday.

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs Bets

Where: Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, MO)
When: Sunday, January 26th at 6:30 PM EST
Watch: CBS

Amari Cooper – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+500)

Cooper has not been much of a factor in the Buffalo passing game as of late, but what better time to use the acquired wide receiver than in the AFC championship game? Kansas City has a tendency to shut down the run and will force Buffalo to throw the ball. Cooper is a big body, and his under-the-radar status is worth a play to score at +500 odds. The question will be, how much does Josh Allen trust him? Either way, I’ll take a flyer for the potential payout.

Each Team to Score 1+ Passing TD and 1+ Rushing TD (+250)

I love this prop bet. The last time these teams met, the only thing preventing this bet from cashing was a Chiefs rushing touchdown. Mahomes threw for three touchdowns in that game but also added two interceptions. Allen went for one passing TD and one interception, but the Bills were able to add two scores on the ground. I expect that turnovers will be limited in a game where a berth to the Super Bowl is on the line. Fewer turnovers directly correlate with more scoring opportunities. The Chiefs have also made a commitment to the run and have scored a rushing TD in 3 straight. Mahomes has also thrown at least 1 TD in 11 consecutive games. Josh Allen did not throw a touchdown last week against the Baltimore Ravens, breaking a seven-game streak. The Bills have also compiled an impressive streak of six games with a rushing TD. I think it will all come together this weekend, and this bet will cash.
