NBA Totals Pick: New York Knicks at Philadelphia 76ers

Today I’m going with my best play for NBA totals. This system (T1) has an overall record of 44-58, with a solid Fade on the Overs at 14-27, 65%. It says New York and Philly will go Over the total of 220 so I’m taking the Under.

New York’s record in this spot is 1-4.

Philadelphia’s record in this spot is 2-3.

Those two records combine for 3-7, a 70% Fade.

On Tuesday, November 12th, they faced each other in their only meeting so far this year, in Philadelphia, in this same spot.
T1 said the game would go Over 212 and it landed on 210 for an Under.
Today’s game has a total of 220, ten points higher than they scored in their last meeting.

Head to head, in their last ten meetings, the Under has come in 6 of the 10 games.

On the season, New York is 23-18 favoring the Over and Philly is 20-17.

Recent play does not favor Under 220 on the Knick’s side. Eight of their last ten have gone Over this number.
Things look a little better on the 76er’s side, where only four of their last ten surpassed 220.

Philly is playing in the second game of back to back nights. Their record for O/U in this spot is three Overs, one Under. Not a favorable look for my Under in this one.

Helping make the case for an Under though is the injury report – both teams are walking wounded.
The 76er’s Maxie is listed as day-to-day and did not play in their last game. Embiid is listed as questionable and likely not to play.

For the Knicks, Brunson is listed as day-to-day but likely to play but Towns is questionable for tonight’s game with a thumb injury. Towns is the second leading scorer on the team so if he’s out it’s a big plus for my Under.

Good news – tonight’s game is nationally televised on ESPN so anyone betting on it gets to watch and root for their money.

When to Buy Recommendation
The game opened at 220.
I’m looking at the odds from eight different books and the number is split now between 220 and 219′.
I bought it this morning since it seems to be dropping.
