Free MLB Pick

This game presents another classic hot versus not matchup. The Rockies have won five out of their last six games and have been performing well on both offense and defense. They have scored five or more runs in four of their games while allowing two or fewer runs in four games as well. On the other hand, the Mets have been struggling, losing four of their last five games. Their offense has been particularly worrisome, having scored just four runs in their past four games.
In terms of starting pitching, I believe that the Rockies have the edge in this game. Ryan Feltner has been in excellent form, going 2-0 with a 1.06 WHIP and 1.06 ERA in his last three starts. While Joey Lucchesi, the Mets’ projected starter, has good past numbers against the Rockies’ current roster, his last two starts have been mediocre.
Given the Rockies’ recent form and the potential advantage they have on the mound, I believe that taking the Rockies at +180 represents a great value play.
Additionally, I also like the Under in this game. Both starting pitchers and bullpens are capable of keeping the offenses in check, which could result in a low-scoring game.
In summary, considering the Rockies’ hot form and the potential edge they have in starting pitching, I recommend taking the Rockies at +180, and also taking the Under 9 at -120.
