2007 Breeders’ Cup Mile Betting Analysis
Wagering Key: Win-Place-Show, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick 3, Pick 4
European EXCELLENT ART is the best horse in the field and gets a great rider switch from Spencer to Murtagh but he drew horribly at Post 13 and hes almost certain to be wide at a short price. Could he still win? Yes, so well include him, but at a short price well be trying to beat him. JEREMY might be the European to go with at a better price because of his post. His nose loss to Ramonti in the one-mile Queen Anne Stakes-G1 this summer would be good enough to win this.
Among the Americans NOBIZ LIKE SHOBIZ is 3-for-3 since switching to the Turf after facing the best of his division on the dirt with some success. He appears to have some class and the question is whether he can stay close enough on the cut back in distance. KIP DEVILLE is better suited to the distance (6-for-9) and he comes into this race off an excellent second place finish behind Shakespeare in the Woodbine Mile-G1. AFTER MARKET and TRIPPIS STORM are both capable of posting an upset but will need there best races and perfect trips.
