The 2025 RBC Heritage is set to once again grace the fairways of Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This prestigious PGA TOUR event, steeped in tradition, is a highlight of the golfing calendar.

Known for its iconic red-and-white striped lighthouse and challenging course design, Harbour Town demands precision and strategy from the world’s top golfers. The tournament, a Signature Event, annually attracts a strong field, promising a compelling competition.

The RBC Heritage is more than just a golf tournament; it’s an experience. Spectators can expect a vibrant atmosphere, with fans donning the tournament’s signature plaid. The event showcases not only world-class golf but also the unique charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

The course, with its narrow fairways lined by ancient oaks and overhanging Spanish moss, presents a distinct test compared to many other PGA TOUR venues. This often leads to a captivating leaderboard, with a variety of playing styles contending for the coveted plaid jacket. The 2025 edition of the RBC Heritage is poised to deliver another exciting chapter in the tournament’s rich history.

About the Course

Who to Bet this Weekend?

Matt Fitzpatrick – Top 10 Finish (+400)

2025 has not been kind to Matt Fitzpatrick thus far, as he has yet to finish inside the top 20 in any of his appearances. While his trajectory has been in a downward spiral, a showdown at Harbour Town might be exactly what the doctor ordered for his resurgence. In his career, Fitzpatrick has played this course ten times dating back to 2014. While he has missed the cut in three of those ten, he was able to win the event in 2023 and has an additional T4 and two T14 finishes. The key for Fitzpatrick is his putting as he has missed the cut each time he’s finished with negative strokes gained on the green. If he can read the greens well and dial in his approach shots, he can continue to find success at the RBC.

Scottie Scheffler – To Win (+375)

This is not a flashy pick by any stretch of the imagination, but it just feels like Scottie is due for his first event victory this season. After two consecutive finishes in the top 5, the injury concerns for Scheffler seem to be dissipating and he is finding his true form. Add in the post-Master’s hangover that is bound to impact the field and this feels like a great spot to back the number one golfer in the sport. I don’t need to go into details on how strong Scheffler’s all around golf game is but look for the 2024 RBC Heritage Champion to defend his title and walk away with another PGA Tour victory.

Daniel Berger – Top 10 Finish (+250)

Daniel Berger is my somewhat dark horse candidate to find success at the 2025 RBC Heritage. It blows my mind that there is not more chatter about Berger as he has not missed a cut since January and has been playing some spectacular golf as of late. Berger is not going to be remarkable off of the tee box, but he is one of the more accurate drivers of the golf ball in this field and on the tour in general. In his five appearances at Harbour Town, he has improved his approach game in each which will be a key factor to separate him from the other golfers. Berger’s best showing here was in 2020 as he finished T3. As he carries some serious momentum into the weekend, I think a top 10 finish at this value is a must play.
