The 2025 Valspar Championship is set to be an exciting event in the world of golf, taking place at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. This tournament is part of the PGA Tour and attracts top players from around the globe, showcasing their skills on the Copperhead Course, known for its challenging layout and picturesque scenery. The Valspar Championship usually features a strong field, with many players looking to gain momentum as they head into the Masters Tournament later this spring. Fans can expect thrilling moments, as the Copperhead Course is famous for its “Snake Pit,” a stretch of holes that can make or break a player’s chances of winning. As anticipation builds for the 2025 edition, golf enthusiasts are eager to see who will take home the coveted trophy and add their name to the list of past champions. This championship continues to be a highlight of the PGA Tour calendar, promising excitement and drama for players and fans alike.

Who to Bet this Weekend?
Christiaan Bezuidenhout – Top 10 Finish (+450)
Bezuidenhout has played extremely well at Copperhead in recent memory, finishing 9th in last year’s event. During the 2024 iteration of the Valspar Championship, he was able to dial in his putting, which ultimately helped him distance himself from the rest of the field. Bezuidenhout may not launch balls off the tee for great distance, but his accuracy and fairway finding ability is going to carry him a long way. Copperhead is all about finding the right angles to set up iron and wedge shots into the greens while avoiding the numerous water hazards that most Floridian golf courses possess. I think the South African has an outside chance to win the entire event and would even consider putting some money down on his odds at +6000. After a missed cut at The Players Championship last weekend, this is a good spot for Christiaan to get back on track and contend.
Top Asian Player – Byeong Hun An (+350)
This bet is largely based on the fact that Byeong Hun An has played the Copperhead course four times during the course of his career. While he hasn’t had a tremendous amount of success, his knowledge of the course should give him an advantage over the other golfers he is grouped within this prop bet. The favorite is currently Tom Kim, but he has never competed here before, and the Valspar rarely sees golfers experience success in their debut. Kim’s putting has been absolutely horrendous and he has finished 42nd or worse in his last four events, meaning that he is not bringing any momentum into the weekend. Byeon Hun An was lucky to make the cut last weekend, but let’s not forget he finished T-8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. I’m not saying that he’s going to be in contention come Sunday, but I like his chances to be the Top Asian Player in the field.
Billy Horschel – To Win (+9000)
Horschel is my longshot bet to win the event outright this year, and for good reason. He has a long history at the Valspar, and in his most recent outing, he found himself just outside the top 10 in a tie for 12th place. 2025 has not been as kind to Billy as 2024 was, but the season is young, and this tournament is truly up for grabs. Horschel will find success here in Florida if he can dial in his approach play and also remain accurate off the tee box. It cannot be understated how important course history is at this event, and I am betting that Horschel finds a way to win it all by the end of the weekend.
