Who to Bet on this Weekend?

Keegan Bradley – Top 10 Finish (+200)

Has anybody been hotter than Keegan Bradley to start 2025? While he did not compete at The American Express, Bradley is coming off of a T6 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Bradley’s game is well suited for the tight fairways and firm greens that Torrey Pines will present. Keegan is accurate off the tee and is far and away above the rest of the field in terms of accuracy in approach shots. In fact, Bradley ranks in the 97th percentile for proximity to the hole in his approach game. The rest of his game is slightly above average, but he has all of the tools to compete. He should safely find himself in the top 10 in his second consecutive tournament.

Shane Lowry – To Win (+2200)

Shane Lowry is another member of the field who has all of the skills to walk away on top at the conclusion of the Farmers Insurance Open. Similar to Keegan Bradley, Lowry’s prolific all-around game is highlighted by his driving accuracy and his approach play. Lowry is coming off of a brief hiatus in terms of PGA Tour events, but I expect his return to be emphatic. He has had varying levels of success at Torrey Pines throughout his career, highlighted by three finishes inside the top 25, but with a thin field here in 2025, Lowry has the tools to lay claim to the winner’s trophy.

Tony Finau – Top 5 Finish (+400)

While Finau is coming off of an abysmal performance last weekend where his putter ultimately did him in, I am backing his rise this weekend based on his track record at Torrey Pines. Outside of 2 missed cuts, Finau has never finished outside of the top 25 at Torrey Pines, dating all the way back to 2015. Finau will need to ensure that his putting stroke is much more true this weekend to have any real shot at cashing this bet, but he can help his case with his approach play and play around the green.
