Maybe or maybe not I guess? It is necessary to complete large rollovers and if you don;t they will not release your money. I guess if you are planning to play for the whole season its worth it..free money:thumbs:
Are sportsbook bonuses worth it?

I think so. You gotta read the fine print though.
If they didn't have the rollovers, people would just hit and run them and they'd go broke. I'd be worried about the stability of a book that didnt have rollovers/holds.
Sign up bonuses are a great option for the recreational player who doesn't need to make frequent withdrawls.
On the other hand, betting at reduced juice -105 will save you more than any bonus loot that you'll ever get. You can find this great offer at 5Dimes.
For those wondering what reduced juice is...
Most sportsbooks offer -110 odds. This means that you risk $1.10 for every $1.00 you're trying to profit.
At 5Dimes, you lay -105 odds. This means that you risk $1.05 for the very same dollar that you're trying to win.
5 cents doesnt sound like much, but when you add it up over time, it's massive. Especially for guys that bet dimes (1000 dollar bets). You'd be saving 50 bucks every time you make a bet!Last edited by Kevin; 02-17-2011, 08:31 PM.
