    I check my account this morning only to see that a $250 wager has been placed on "Finnish Ice Hockey." My first thought... my account has been hacked. So I contact their live chat help and explain my whole problem to them. 10-15 minutes goes by of them contacting people, and looking into things before they give me Bookmakers toll free 1-800 number to contact. I talk to Internet Resolution guy for about 5-10 minutes, who then transfers me over to the Claims dept. Of course this bitch can't speak english to save her soul, so after about 10 more minutes of bull**** with her, she tells me to call her back in 20-30 minutes.

    (by the way, I missed work over this circumstance. I wasn't about to let this go thinking my password has been hacked with over 10K in my account.

    I call her back. And she says the issue has been resolved. No explanation, no nothing. So I ask for the person in charge. (Another one who can't speak english) Gives me the same bull****, and transfers me to Customer Service. HERE I am on hold for another 15-20 minutes. Only to find out that:

    Some random guy wanted to place a wager over the phone. SOMEHOW they deducted it out of MY account. How do you do that? Don't you need your Account #, PW, even CC number sometimes to place a wager over the phone?


    After all this. The hassle, the worry, the anger... I get whopping 20% bonus on my next deposit.

    There was also a minor problem with them grading NCAABB wagers the wrong way in mid November, but they resolved that issue... but still! This is suppose to be one of the more professional books out there? They seemed very eager and energetic to just get me off the phone, and have me go on my way. I just can't believe this.


    People always complain so much about Sportsbook being so slow, and ****ty with their payouts. They ARE slower with their payouts, but if I ever had a problem, i was always treated with the utmost kindness. Bookmaker is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a book. Just unbelievable.

    Wow, that surprises me. That's the first negative thing Ive ever heard anybody say about them.

    I assume that this is an isolated incident. Im sorry to hear that you had an issue with them.

    Fellas, if you EVER have an issue with a sportsbook/poker room/etc that we advertise, holler at me.

    We have some pull with almost all of them should a legit issue ever arise.

      The only reason I ever went to Bookmaker, is because this site recommended them. I can definitely understand these things could, and MAY happen.. but to act like such a dick and basically play it off like it was no big deal is completely unnecessary. They also made no effort to assure me this wouldn't happen again. What they basically said was: "Yeah, **** happens... But don't expect more then a 20% bonus from us on your next deposit."

      I really thought Bookmaker was a class act site, and was satisfied with their lines, and customer service. Bunch of *******s they are... at least the people I had the pleasure of speaking with.

        Just had a real bad experience with Bookmaker...I wanted to take out some funds from there, just because I hadn't done so yet...I don't use them as much as I use my other books...so I was told that I only have a choice to withdraw up to $1500 or more than $5K using their electronic withdrawals...(first of all, that's complete bull**** I think....I wanted to withdraw $3K and didn't have the option to do so, and really pissed me off)...anyway, I was told they both use different processors and the one for $1500 would only take 2-5 days...anyway..I chose the one for $1500, and there was no fee with it...the funds were taken out of my account on DECEMBER 13TH!! it's now January 2nd...I still haven't seen my funds yet....I've called them EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past week, and keep getting the same answer...they have sent the funds to the processor, and are waiting to hear back from the processor as to why I have not received my funds yet. They keep saying that they cannot call anyone at the company that processes the withdrawals..they just communicate through emails and they haven't heard anything back....and they can't cancel my withdrawal, because they have already sent the funds to the processor...at the end it's the same **** at the end of every call...'please call us back tommorow and we'll have some more information for you, and hopefully we'll hear back from the proccessing company by tommorow'.....well today I completely lost it on the phone, because I asked the cust service rep..."what if you don't hear back from this company for another 2-3 months...does that mean my money will still be 'lost'?"...without even hesitating he said..."well, yes sir...if we don't hear back from them, we can't tell you where your money is, no matter how long it takes, because we already sent them your funds, and we can't cancel this withdrawal because we've already sent them your funds"....at this time I completely lost it!!! Finally spoke to some 'supervisor' and now am being told that they are going to cancel this request and I will get my funds via western union on Friday....lets see if I get my funds on friday or not....I'm soo damn pissed right now....on top of that, I lost over $2K in the last couple of weeks that I originally wanted to withdraw...still have a little left in there....don't know what the hell to do...kevin...any ideas?? and sorry for this long post! I'm hoping I get my funds on Friday!!

            I was hoping I wouldn't have to type this up, but I do....

            I've been talking to someone named Andrew at Bookmaker. This is the same guy that told me that they're cancelling my bank wire withdrawal and will send the funds to me via Western Union today for sure (with no fees). When I called this morning, I was told to call back around 1pm to get my Western Union tracking number. When I called back, I'm now being told that they cannot send me funds through western union and that I will have to just wait for my bank wire to get processed. He said for to wait 'another week or so' and I 'should' have my funds in my account by then. Once again, I asked him...what happens if I don't have my funds by then...and he said, 'we'll research some more at that time'....He just kept saying, 'we've sent your money to the processor, on dec 13th so you should get your money soon'. But at the end he would say, 'it must be some kind of delay with the processor, because it doesn't take this long...its usually 10 days max'....So after all this BS for the last 2 weeks, I'm back to EXACTLY where I was...they didn't cancel my withdrawal, they still haven't talked to the 'processor' (whoever the hell that is), and they still don't know where the hell my funds are....I would really like you help with this....For the first time in this whole process, I was so pissed off that I was just speechless on the phone with them...after he gave me all this bs over and ove again...I just hung up...I don't know what to do next...let me know if I need to give you my account number or anything...I've been a customer for a long time...hell my acct number is the same as it was when they were betcris.....any help you can provide with this would be greatly appreciated!!:help:

                    sounds like a very VERY suspect business to me. has every sign of someone you would never want to do business with. bad companies always give you the run around and never have answers. it's not whether or not a business makes a mistake that makes it a good or bad operation, it's what it does after that.

                    i highly doubt this is an isolated case and BK is the only guy getting the run around because they don't like his GTECH avatar.

                    curious what happens BK....hopefully you get your dough....:thumbs:...can't stand bad businesses or shady business people.

                      Flyers...no matter what happens with these funds, I'm never using this book EVER again....I've used plenty of other books online, and have never been treated like this regarding a withdrawal...If they tell me what the hell is going on, the waiting wouldn't be this bad, but to constantly hear the same BS everyday, and getting guarantees which never come through, really pisses me off. I was dumb enough to believe the last one, when they said they're cancelling my bank wire and are going to send me the funds through western union today (Friday)...and then I was dumb enough to believe this guy in the morning when he told me to call back a little later for my control number for western union...and then when I call back he gives me the same bull**** again...I really hope Kevin's contact can assist with this...I'm even more pissed that they have my other money that I've already lost there...this is my FIRST withdrawal with them....and no matter what happens with these funds, they're not going to have to worry about me making any more withdrawals, b/c I wont be putting another penny in there...I should've just stuck with the book I use most of time...never had any problems withdrawing money from them.....but was just trying to add a couple of more books to get a variety of lines:bang: I knew something was fcked up when they said I couldn't withdraw $3K...only $1500 or $5K...never heard of anything like that...I'm just hoping I'll get this money somehow...

                        yeah, i got hosed by Betonusa or betusa....whatever that book was for about 1500.00 a couple years back (turned a free 50.00 into that then they renigged on the thing) and since then i won't touch most of these books, ringing endorsement or not. I still have the greek, sportsbook.com and 1 other one. Unfortunately, the absolute best book i have ever played at, aces.com, quit taking US customers when all the **** went down. I got 2K in payouts from them off a free 50.00 with never a question or hassle and usually had it in about 2 days. I eventually deposited and played there and it was a great book (from the sportsbook.com/playersonly family).

                        anyhow, i hear ya.......it's tough these days because you do need multiple outs, but there just aren't that many good books out there and pinny going away really hurt. To give you an example....the HAW/UGA halftime line was anywhere from -5 1/2 to -7 and the team total was anywhere from 18 1/2 to 20 on UGA. that's huge to get a point + on a halftime line. just not the same as it used to be, though.

                          Got some good news on this front. They funded the money back in my book maker account and now are doing a Money Gram Transfer for $1500. Got my fingers crossed that this works out.
