Netherlands vs. Denmark - No Play

I have a weird feeling about this Netherland-Denmark game. From Day 1, i'v liked Netherlands to take this one easily, even when Arjen Robben went down with the hammy in the Hungary friendly.

Now, I don't know. It's about 90% now that Netherlands will run a 4-2-3-1... What the hell is Bert van Marwijk thinking? He wants to go cross strong against a backfeild which includes Daniel Agger - arguably the best defenseman in the world in regards to defending that type of attack.

Now it looks like both Kjaer, and Sorensen will be in for Denmark as well. The Dutch will have chances here and there for the result... not the constant holding pressure everyone expects.

This has 1-1 written ALL over it. If the Oranje pulls this out, I don't expect it to be easy in the least bit. This will be a great one to watch, but one I will not be touching.

Prediction: Netherlands 1-1 Denmark

Denmark +1 at even money is a great value bet. Even a wise play.

The Dutch playing with this formation just isn't getting it done, and I doubt they change it up at HT.

They are, and they really shouldn't be. The Dutch should still be running a 4-3-2-1, even without Robben. Van Persie is a Top 5 finisher in the world, but he's unable to create as much as he's needed to right now.

Cameroon will go as far as Eto'o can take him. The kis truly believes his country can win the World Cup. They missed out on playing in 2006, so surely they are all hungry for this.

Nakamura is the only threat for the Japs, and he can't get the result by himself. The Japanese defenders don't see strikers like Eto'o everyday.. and day in, and day out, he continues to have to face the stingiest club defenses in the world. I expect him to have a field day with these Japanese defenders.

Cameroon wants to win the World Cup? It starts here. A lot of these teams just play the games, and hope for the best, knowing thay they are overmatched in talent. Eto'o and gang think they have the tools to take it all. They might open some eyes today.
