I'm thinking this will be the first dominate preformance we get to see in the World Cup this year. Other elite, and classy teams just can't seem to get their act down.

France are known chokers.
England has heaps of pressure on them.
Argentina came oh so close to busting their game open, but again tons of pressure on Maradona.

This is another day at the office for Germany. Klose, and Podolski should be no match for anything the Aussie's can offer. Throw in all the world class Mid's, and it's bas news for Australia.

Prediction: Germany 3-0 Australia
I think Klose, Podolski, and Hitzlsperger all get on the board in this one. While Cahill might have a chance or two at goal, he won't come close to troubling the keeper.

Update:

Through 3 days, i'm up $2,080. A 9-2 record almost feels like a failure, as I feel straight robbed of my 2 losses. But oh well, that's why they play the games. I just hope that goes both ways, and I can get a result when I really didn't deserve it.

It always feels like smooth sailing once I get under $10,000 to go, so hopefully I can have a good week. I will start to bump up my bets a bit more with games I feel most strongly on. I will also pick my spots to lay -200 to -500 chalk on double chance results to try to win some easy units along the way.

The last 3 days have been fun, but the cup has yet to really begin. It's much easier to predict accurate results once the groups have a few points distributed amongst them.

I'm dedicated to making this journey a success. Hopefully everyone is winning so far, and if not, at least enjoying these great games.
