    JoePa's MASTERS Picks

    UPDATED YTD: 0 - 0
    UNITS: 0.00

Good way to start the season by picking the first major! I will be picking five (5) players this week.

    THE MASTER'S -

JUSTIN THOMAS 12/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER - Thomas is the FedExCup points leader and this is just his third Masters appearance where he has improved his standing over his first two tournaments with a T36 in 2016 and was T22 last year. His form on Tour over the last year has been unmatched and after winning Honda earlier this season, he earned a Playoff 2nd at the Mexico Open and a solid fourth at the Match Play.

PAUL CASEY 22/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER - Casey finds himself in a good spot and his recent form puts him in a good position to pick up his first major title. He is a recent winner and he has T6-T4-6th place finishes at Augusta in the last three years.

BUBBA WATSON 4/1 TOP 5 FINISH - Watson won at Riviera after falling off a cliff in the Tour rankings, tumbling all the way to No. 117. He dominated the field at the WGC-Match Play, and Vegas took notice and cut his Masters odds nearly in half from 25/1 to 16/1 for an outright win. His only Top 35 finishes at the Masters since 2009 are wins! Validation!

IAN POULTER 14/1 TOP 5 FINISH - Beware of Poultergeist who come in with a white hot- putter and is on his game right now. The flat stick got everyone's the attention at the Shell Houston last week, but he struck the ball beautifully as well which is a stat that flew under everyone's radar. His form at Augusta National is good as well as he has six (6) top 20s in 11 starts.

PATRICK CANTLAY 80/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER & 13/2 TOP 10 FINISH - Cantlay started the 2017-18 season by winning the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in November, and he hasn’t missed a cut in eight (8) starts to move into the 33rd spit in the OWGR. He proved he can handle Augusta when he finished as the low amateur here in 2012.
