Not a very good showing by my picks last week! Like the Zurich guys start to hone their game for match play next week.
DUSTIN JOHNSON 8/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER - DJ has finished no worse than sixth place in his last three Tour starts, which includes a win at the Cadillac Championship, a career-best T6th at The Masters and a T6th at the Valero Texas Open. I think he comes here in great form and seems to be very happy with his game and "new life" as well.
JUSTIN ROSE 10/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER - Rosie has momentum after his T2nd at The Masters two weeks ago. He has also finished 15th or better in his last three starts at TPC Louisiana. Of his 24 career rounds at the Zurich, 18 have been under par and 11 of those rounds have been in the 60s.....he's a scorer!
JOHN PETERSON 9/1 TOP 5 FINISH - He is still seeking his first Tour victory, so why doesn't it come in his home state? At any rate, playing in front of a large home contingent should give him some impetus to finish near the top of the leaderboard. He T8th at the Zurich in 2013 and has two Top 20 finishes in his last two Tour starts.
KEVIN KISNER 12/1 TOP 5 FINISH - You saw his killer short game last week and it's what got him into playoff position with Jim Furyk at the RBC Heritage, which was his first Top 25 finish on the season. He was T16th here last year through 54 holes but a disastrous final round 76 dropped him to a T34th. He's in good form after last weeks sharp play.
JASON BOHN 16/1 TOP 5 FINISH - Believe it or not, he was a winner here in 2010! And, he's only missed two of 13 cuts this season so his play is elevated. He has Top 20s in two of his last four Tour starts, ranks 28th in GIR, 3rd in proximity and inside the Top 30 in par 3, par 4 and par 5 scoring! What's not to like about that!
