Enough of the almost winners already! Over the last two weeks, I had Jim Furyk almost back into a win and Gary Woodland play himself out of a Top 5 finish with a bogey on the 17th hole at the Byron Nelson. Let's get back to winning with some favorites. I think this will be a week when one of the Tour's top players grabs a 'W'.....which seems to be rare this season.
MATT KUCHAR 12/1 - OUTRIGHT WINNER Kooch has been impressive this season racking up Tour high 9 Top 10s with 5 of them in his last 6 starts! He ranks 1st in adjusted scoring, is a perfect 7/7 in cuts at Colonial and finished 2nd last year.
JIM FURYK - 16/1 OUTRIGHT WINNER Ladies and gentlemen, the drought is almost over as evidenced by El Lupe's recent form. He's way overdue, which makes the weight of that big bag Fluff is carrying even heavier! Furyk has finished no worse than T20th in his last 6 Tour starts which means he is in the money with runner up finishes in his last two events. He's one of the better ball strikers on Tour and has earned 7 Top 10 finishes at Colonial.
GRAHAM DELAET - 5/1 TOP 5 FINISH Despite having not won a Tour event, he remains one of the better golfers and definitely one of the best ball strikers in the game. In fact, he leads Le Tour in GIR as well as ball striking! He finished 7th at the Byron Nelson and T22nd last year at Colonial closing with a disappointing 74 after being in contention thru the 3rd round!
JOHN SENDEN - 15/2 TOP 5 FINISH He won the Valspar earlier this season, has made 14/16 cuts making the weekend in his last 9 straight events, and a final round 66 last week lifted him to a T11th. He's also 25th in adjusted scoring, has 2 Top 10s at Colonial with a T8th in 2011, his most recent appearance.
CHARLEY HOFFMAN - 10/1 TOP 5 FINISH Only one missed cut in 15 starts this season and 4 Top 10 finishes. He's 5/5 in making the cut at Colonial with Top 20s in 2012 & 2013!
