    JoePa's THE MASTERS Picks

    UPDATED YTD -
    OUTRIGHT WINNERS:
    TOP 5 FINISHERS:
    TOP 10 FINISHERS:
    UNITS: 0.00

Does the favorite ever win the Masters? Tiger will be in contention this year but there's no value in picking him as usual! So, let's get the golf season started off on the right foot.....

MATT KUCHAR 35/1 TO WIN OUTRIGHT - Like butter, he's on a roll this year and finished T3rd last season. His game is steady and he's the kind of player that will hang around and may even slide into a green jacket this week. He can fade the ball with the best of them and playing a fade off the tee on right-to-left holes---a must at Augusta---is much to his game's liking.

K.J. CHOI 16/1 TO FINISH TOP 5 - Choi will be confident as he drives down Magnolia Lane after last week's 6th place finish in San Antonio. I know, I know, he missed the cut last year at the Masters, but T8 in 2011 and has a history of posting low numbers at Augusta when he makes it to the weekend. It's his 11th Masters appearance and if he can putt like he did last week then he has more than a fighting chance.

RICHARD STERNE 12/1 TO FINISH TOP 10 - Sterne is no stranger in beating the world's best, but came to Augusta ranked 171st in the world last year. This year he's 41st and qualified following a co-runner-up finish at the Shell Houston.....then promptly took a week off to prepare for Augusta. If he had enough rounds this year to qualify for official PGA stats rankings, he'd lead the tour in GIR and scrambling.

DAVID LYNN 16/1 TO FINISH TOP 10 - He's a 39 year old PGA Tour rookie showing good potential in making 7/10 starts for 2013 which includes a T4th at The Honda and a 14th-place finish last week at the Valero. He's very efficient around the greens and ranks 62nd in strokes gained-putting, 19th in sand saves and 31st in scrambling. At San Antonio last week, he finished 8th in strokes gained-putting and T8th in scrambling.
