Will start abbreviating my picks to include E.W. = Each Way, which means to finish as the outright winner or in the top 5!
HARRIS ENGLISH 14/1 E.W. & 66/1 TO WIN OUTRIGHT - English grabbed a Top 10 finish last week with a T8th at the RBC Heritage and has four other Top 25s on the year. He ranks 45th in scoring average, 9th in driving distance, 25th in GIR, 19th in stokes gained putting, 15th in birdie average, and 27th all around. He's a long shot to win but I love long shots and he fits the bill just fine here.
JASON DUFNER 6/1 E. W. - He has good form here and finished 3rd at TPC Louisiana in 2011 and recorded Top 10s in each of the last three seasons in Nawlins! He has Top 25s in his last four starts this season with 2 Top 10s, and 6 Tops 25s for the season. He's ranked 32nd in GIR, 8th all-around, 20th in scoring with a 70.32 average, 13th in driving accuracy at 69% and 8th in total driving.
CAMERON TRINGALE 11/1 E.W. - Tringale is making the mullet a comeback style coming off his 2nd straight share of 8th place on the season (Shell Houston & Valero). He ranks 16th in total driving, 35th in GIR AND strokes gained putting. He T18th here in 2011, has made 8/11 cuts on the season.
PETER HANSON 9/1 E.W. - Comes back to the U.S. fresh off the low-for-the-field Sunday rounds at the Volvo China Open 65 to finish T14th. He ranks Top 50 in all scoring stats on tour and is T14th in GIR, 27th in scoring and 6th all-around. The Swede came to play at The Masters where he finished 3rd and is ranked 5th in the Race to Dubai. He has 4 Top 10s this year in his last 6 starts---all are Top 5 finishes---with a 2nd at the Qatar Masters (posting three rounds in the 60s), 5th at the WGC Accenture, 4th at the WGC Cadillac, his Masters 3rd. His recent form has been rather impressive to say the least. For the year, his stroke average is 69.78 and his GIR is a lofty 70.37.
