JOEPA'S UPDATED YTD
UNITS: -1.50
One of those coulda, shoulda, woulda finishes last week at the RBC Heritage with Kevin Na finishing in a tie for 8th place after imploding with 3 consecutive bogeys in the last 6 holes while at -4 when a -7 would have gotten him solo 4th!
FREDRIK JACOBSON 25/1 TO WIN OUTRIGHT - Another Swede poised to win? His last two Valero appearances are a T5th and a solo 2nd. He's 7 for 7 in cuts made this season even though his last four tournaments have produced his highest totals for the year. His past form may trump his recent form along a boost from fellow countryman Carl Petersson's win last week.
CHARLEY HOFFMAN 5/1 TO FINISH TOP FIVE - Hoffman has played at the Valero 6 times and only once finished outside the Top 13. He has 5 Top 15s in 6 starts here and was co-runnerup in 2011. He finished T8th last week at the RBC and was T6th in birdies and T7th in GIR and also posted 2 eagles.
KEVIN STREELMAN 9/1 TO FINISH TOP FIVE - Finished T17th last week at the RBC Heritage---his third Top 20 finish in his last 7 starts this season. He was ranked T13th in GIR last week at Harbour Town and happened to lead the field in GIR while finished in a T15th last year at the Valero. He ranks 32nd in total driving and 37th in GIR on Tour.
ROBERTO CASTRO 30/1 TO FINISH TOP FIVE - He has just one, yep, one missed cut in 7 starts this season and is still virtually unknown. He's also 3rd on Tour in total driving, 10th in fairways hit, 8th in GIR, 13th in sand saves and also 31st in bogey avoidance.
