DONALD 14/1 to win outright - Wasted no time in returning to contention in sharing runner-up honors at Firestone where he ranked 48th in distance off the tee, but led the field in greens hit. The guy hits irons with laser-like precision. Finished with tidy weekend rounds of 64-66 and all four rounds 69 or under. Also carded the fewest bogeys (3) in the field. He’s made 11/13 cuts on the PGA Tour, leads the Race to Dubai standings and is 3rd in the FedEx standings. Won the WGC Accenture Matchplay earlier this year and finished T4th at both The Players and The Masters.

DAY 25/1 to win outright - His share of fourth at Firestone was merely the latest in an impressive list of strong finishes in the biggest events, including a pair of runner-up outings at the season's first two majors. Ranked T2 in greens hit and 14th in putting in Akron where he was in it one minute and out of it the next but still managed to grab a share of some of the bigger green. Day has been sterling this year with a 2nd at the U.S. Open, T2nd at The Masters and a T6th at The Players. He’s 12th in the FedEx standings making 14/16 cuts with 8 Top10s and 9 Top25 finishes.

SIMPSON 80/1 to win outright & 16/1 to finish Top 5 - Completely unfazed by unchartered territory. Top 20s in his last six starts, including a T14 and T16 at his U.S. and British Open debuts, respectively. Continues to lead the PGA TOUR in the all-around ranking. Also 18th in total driving, 17th in GIR, 2nd in birdie average, 4th in scoring average and 3rd in par breakers. He’s 6th on tour in Birdie or Better on Par 3s, 11th in Birdie or Better on Par 4s, and 6th in Birdie or Better on Par 5s this season. Simpson has made 16/18 cuts on the year has two 2nd place finishes, 6 Top10s and 14 Top25s. He’s in the money………….alot!
Watch out for.....
Steve
STRICKER who is 28/1 to win outright - I don't have any dough on him, but he definitely peaks my interest. Finished solo 14th at Firestone for his tenth consecutive top 20 since March. Leads the PGA TOUR in strokes gained-putting, birdie average, bogey avoidance and par-4 performance. Sits second in scrambling and adjusted scoring. Not worth a 5/1 price to finish Top5 for me.....
