    JoePa's Barclays Scottish Open

    BARCLAYS SCOTTISH OPEN -

Going away from the obvious with Luke Donald or Lee Westwood.....

ANDERS HANSEN 50/1 to win outright & 10/1 to finish Top 10 - Hansen is currently ranked 6th in the Race to Dubai and thru 13 events this season he's been in the money 11 times. His best finishes of the season are three 2nd place rankings on the leaderboards of the Saab Wales Open, Open de Espana, and Omega Dubai Dessert Classic. He also owns a 3rd place finish at the WGC Cadillac and he's finished in the Top 18 in 4 other tournaments. Hansen was 30th last week in the Alstom Open de France, but still ranks 20th in stroke average on the Euro Tour, 18th in driving accuracy at 68% and hits the GIR at a tidy 70%.

PABLO LARRAZABAL 66/1 to win outright & 12/1 to finish Top 10 - Pablo is 10th in the Race to Dubai, is 9th in Euro Tour stroke average, 22nd in GIR at 72%, 5th in sand saves and thru 17 event on the season has 7 Top 15s and 4 Top 5s. He won the BMW International a couple of weeks ago and suffered the success hangover by missing the cut last week in France. In consecutive weeks before that missed cut, he won the BMW International, was 11th in the BMW Italian, and 4th at the Saab Wales. More importantly is his season form where he's shaved a full stroke off his scoring average since last season, is 3% more accurate off the tee at 59% fairways, has increased his GIR to 72% from 66%, and improved his game from the sand to 68% compared to 51% last year.

ROSS FISHER 35/1 to win outright & 7/1 to finish Top 10 - Fisher has found his form recently and despite a missed cut at the Saab Wales Open, he's carved out 9th place finishes at the BMW International and Volvo World Matchplay, was 10th at the Omega Dubai, 15th in The Masters and 17th in the WGC Accenture. He's 65% in sand saves, 73% in GIR and as far as course form he finished 8th here in 2010 and 2009, 25th in 2008 and 19th in 2007.
