    2011 MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT PICKS

    BEST BET
LUKE DONALD 9/1 to win outright - Donald is the newest world #1 in the golf rankings and has 15 Top 10s in his last 17 starts worldwide. He also won in a playoff last week at the BMW PGA, has two Top 15s in his last two starts in Dublin and Top 20 finishes in his last two starts at The Memorial with a T6th in 2008 and a T14th in 2009. What's not to like in Donald this year who hits laser-like iron shots, leads the PGA Tour in scoring average at 69.16, is 3rd in scrambling, has 7 Top 10s in 8 tournaments this season with a win and 2nd place finish. No wonder he's the odds on favorite.

    NEXT BEST BET
BILL HAAS 33/1 to win outright - Haas is one of those guys who flys under the radar for the most part, but I have taken notice and after this week maybe more people will also. He's got two Top 10s in his last two starts this season with a T8th at the Colonial where he ranked 3rd in GIR. He's 17th on tour in driving, 5th overall in GIR, 34th in strokes gained putting, and 9th in all-around stats. He's ahead of the tour average in scoring at 69.89, driving distance at 291, driving accuracy at 63.22%, GIR at 70.92%, and scrambling at 62.68. Of the 11 cuts he's made this season he has 5 Top 10s and a 2nd at the Bob Hope.

    DON'T COUNT HIM OUT BET
RICKIE FOWLER 33/1 to win outright - Fowler is struggling this season to find the consistency he enjoyed as a rookie last year. Even though he has 6 Top 20 finishes on the year including two Top 10s (8th at the WGC Cadillac Championships, and T9th at the WGC Accenture Match Play), Fowler finds himself returning to a course that seems to fit his eye and where he almost made history as a rookie last year finishing in 2nd place.

    SPECULATIVE BET
ARJUN ATWAL 125/1 to win outright Atwal has some momentum the last two weeks and found himself finishing high on the leaderboard flirting with the lead. In tough conditions at the windy TPC Four Seasons he finished in a T8th and T2nd at the Tavistock Cup. He also has Top 20s at the Hyundai (T12th) and Crowne Plaza (T16th).
