MICHELOB ULTRA OPEN
OUTRIGHT WINNERS
CRISTIE KERR 14/1 - Kerr comes into the Ultra with five Top10s in seven starts on the season.....and four of them in a row! In her last four starts she has finished 5th at the Master Card, T9th at The Phoenix, T2nd at the Kraft Nabisco, and T5th at The Corona. She is 3rd in scoring average on the LPGA at 70.46, 4th in birdies 3.73, T6th in GIR at 72.2%, and T7th in putts per GIR at 1.78. I know Lorena is the favorite like she is every week, but you can't deny Kerr's competitive record.
JEE YOUNG LEE 33/1 - Lee has two TOP10s in seven tries this season with a T10th at the SBS and T9th at the MasterCard. She tied for 26th last time out at The Corona despite posting her four round best total of 285. A final round 75 knocked her down the order of finish, and the same thing happened to her at the Kraft Nabisco where a second round 80 did her in despite a 72-68 finish over the final two rounds. Still she has put together some pretty good numbers on the year: 16th in scoring average at 71.69, 8th in driving, 5th in GIR at 72.7%, T18th in putts per GIR a 1.81, and she's 5th in birdies.
EUN HEE JI 40/1 - Another long shot who has the ability to cash in at any time! Ji has three Top10s in six starts on the year with her best finishes at the SBS where she ended T10th, T6th at the MasterCard, and T7th at the Phoenix. She has five Top15s on the year and finished at T36th he worst finish on the year at the Kraft Nabisco, her last tournament. Here's hoping she's ready for a big bounce back. She ranks 12th in scoring average at 71.50, T17th in GIR at 69.7%, 22nd overall in birdies at 3.09, and T27th in putts per GIR at 1.83.
