Gotta say that Angelus is right that bailing on this forum is no way to make it better. But come on folks. Im tired of seeing no interaction here. Take the 5minutes to comment on someone else's plays, to pick somebody up after a bad day or congratulate them on a good one. If somebody takes the time to comment in your thread, take the time to acknowledge them......There just is so little commentary on these games and there are so many great plays out there.
ANA -185 (1P)......1 1/2Units.......ANA IMO finishes off VAN tonight. VAN really has shown well in this series taking into account all their injuries and their lack of production to begin with. But no way ANA wants this to go back to VAN...and with the war between Detroit and San Jose going on, they have to see this as a time to get some rest before what is sure to be a war in the Western Finals. ANA has been outplayed, though, in every first period so far in this series except for the last half of game1 when lets be honest, VAN was still in the tank from their Dallas series. VAN has only scored 4 1st period goals all playoffs long and yet they have won or pushed 4 of the first 5 1P in this series. Maybe i am just a sucker, but i am going to give it one more go tonight. I just can't believe with a chance to close out a series at home in 5 that you wouldn't come to play in the first period. But for some reason, that doesn't seem to resonate in the locker room all the time like we see it on the sidelines. I am also hoping that game4 OT loss deflated VAN.
i just really can't justify laying -225 for ANA tonight......even under these circumstances....really only that fact that i am doing well in the playoffs is why i am playing ANA 1P, which really isn't smart, but so be it......
notes for tomorrow: really have to go with BUF tomorrow. I don't think we have seen anything close to the BUF team that ran over my PHI last year and played so well in the playoffs. This is really the first "must win" for them and we will see just what BUF is made of. Somehow the NYR D has managed to negate a lot of the open ice rushes and speed that BUF has and they have kept BUF to playing along the boards rather than up through the middle. Not sure how much of that is the NYR D and how much of that is BUF not being BUF right now. They need Afiniginov to start contributing, though. Too much reliance on Vanek and Drury and Campbell on the PP. Problem is that at -195 there is no value in BUF and quite frankly the NYR have been the better team. Any thoughts on that game? Haven't totally made up my mind yet. Really i think the best play might be BUF 1P.....i think if anything they definitely jump on them early........
GL to everyone!
