    JML Thursday NHL >>>

    NHL YTD: 107-107, +1.18

Bruins -0.5 (reg) -146 vs Leafs
Toronto looking for their 4th straight win? No chance on the road against the best team in the conference.

Penguins -0.5 (reg) +104 vs Thrashers
One of the best scoring clubs against one of the worst defensively, and I can get a + number? Atlanta beat Ottawa last game...big deal, they still blow, and are seriously outmatched here against a rested Pens team.

    Flyers +105 vs Habs
Montreal in a tailspin with injuries and lack of scoring a concern. Carboneau is frustrated, and is switching all the forward lines. Philly is scoring in buckets...wrong team favoured.

    Lightning -110 vs Avs
TB sucks, but get a good spot here, rested and facing the Avs on a long roadtrip. Raycroft back in net tonight, and thats an auto-fade for me. He played well last game, but I doubt it becomes a trend.

    Sharks +122 vs Wings
Have to play the best team in the league as a hefty dog in almost any situation...especially coming off a rare loss. Sharks have a big advantage in goaltending.

    Blues/Caps OVER 6 -101
Two bigtime Over teams...STL has been giving up a ton of goals...4-6 a night on their own, and we all know Wash can score! Also....Wash has a rookie in net tonight. I see a 6-4 type game!

      Bruins PL +131 vs Leafs
Boston 11-1-1 at home. During the 11-game home winning streak, the Bruins have outscored the opposition by a 55-23 margin. In their past 10 home wins, the Bruins have won by 2+ goals every time. WOW!

        Eesh...big night :bang:

There's just too many good plays tonight...lol...

Hurricanes -0.5 (reg) +113 vs Panthers
Florida is on a brutal roadtrip the last week or so, from Ottawa to Western Canada, now into Tobacco Road. They're also banged up, and on the last game of this trip. Carolina is rested, and look to be getting some D-men back tonight.

GL!....we have a similar card tonight......one that really worries me is TAM, though. Just not a dependable hockey club at all no matter the spot. I went with the total in the PHI game....i think that's a 2-2 game and into OT it goes. PHI 4th stingiest on the road GAA wise.

2-0 Bruins a couple minutes in. Toskala pulled. Why didn't I hammer Boston for 10 units instead of 2+PL ...lmao...

thx, can't wait to see him in the lineup. How was the chemistry between him and Wellwood when welly managed to make it on the ice? I've been hearing now how great these 2 played together but figured you knew the real deal.

:dunno:...was just looking at their lineup.....StLouis, Lecavelier and Prospal are the only 3 solid players in that lineup and even they come and go like the wind. Jokkinen is a 3rd/4th liner at best, Recchi is old and other than his "man im hot feed me the puck" run that he goes on every year for about 5 games...he does nothing most nights....stamkos is a rookie and plays like it a lot of the time (he will be good eventually)..........then you have Halpern? Ryan Malone?.......that is a pile of **** as a lineup honestly.

and dude- quit throwing the black cat on playing against Crapcroft. Everytime you say that he stands on his freeking head....:bang:

Yeah...TB is thin, thin, thin. I was more referring to the big 2...who can go off any night (although Vinnys having a pedestrian year).

I knew Malone was going to be a signing they were going to regret...his stats were more the product of the team he played on last year...nice time to go into FA for what is really an OK 3rd line average player...but now getting 1st line money...

                        Yeah...Raycroft...WTF?

They didnt play much together, both being centres and all...but Maurice did have them together for a bit one year, and I remember it working for a while, and they both played on the #1 PP.

do you think that this being Fred Taylor's last game under the lights has anything to do with them being ahead by 10 at the half? :hide:

and if i lose this TAM game in a SO to Raycroft, that is going to have to go down as one of the low points of my NHL gambling experiences....lol
