Panthers are playing better as of late but 2 wins over tampa doesn't convince me that this teams doing anything special meanwhile the devils finally snapped a bad losing streak last game. Getting in a bad team is a way for them to pad the stats a bit and get any points they can with Brodeur not in the lineup.
