Devils -135 vs Lightning
Love this spot for NJ. They were on a goalscoring tear before they ran into a good Buffalo team, getting shut out. I think they bounce back with some goals tonight. TB off a weird scheduling spot where they played two games up north in Buf/Tor, then headed home for one game in Tampa, 3 days off, then back up north. They're going for their 4th straight win, and I think they lay an egg tonight. Weekes a solid veteran tender, so losing Brodeur means nothing to me. I was surprised this wasn't closer to a pick'em with TB coming in hot winning 4 of 5, NJ coming in cold, losing 4 of 5, and the big news of Brodeur's serious injury....BUT, a -140 fave line in this situation tells me the books have an idea NJ is in a good spot tonight. I agree, and was playing the home team tonight at any line.
