Does anybody know exactly why he has been sent down to the farm team. I tought they were counting on him to provide more offence, also tought he had a chance for rookie of the year. The Ducks arent that deep on offence, are they ?

Money...he could go down without going through waivers, and they they saved on the cap somehow....total money move...the "new" nhl....he'll be back up within 20 games....
