    Operation Fade Oilers: Game 10

    Vancouver -190, 2.5 units
As if things couldn't get worse for the Oil, Smid won't be playing tonight. Injuries have destroyed this team. Look at the lineup they ice tonight, and you won't recognize half the names....Shutout for Luongo.

    GL everyone!

not that it should matter but we're without Mitchell and Salo tonight so we're working with a shallow defensive corps at the moment as well. We're still in a much better position in terms of health than the oil tho and never hurts to have Luongo in the pipes. GL

            You know it's bad when:

..............the Oilers called University of Alberta Golden Bear rearguard Gavin McLoud asking if he could play. Had they dressed him in the Vancouver game they would have had to pay him the League minimum of $450,000 US (one-year of salary) with a buyout of $50,000, regardless if he only played one game or ten.

Instead the Oilers opted to bring in junior player Sebastin Bisaillon, which cost them one one year of waiver eligibility. He actually logged allot of ice time and didn't look out of place.
