Couple of great moves by Crosby (you see when he flipped the puck up on his stick 3 or 4 times, and around the defensman?). I enjoyed he game immensly because of the atmosphere. I agree though....NBC has a hard-on for Crosby...but that's what US networks are about isn't it? Over-Hyping the stars in every sport?

I don't get the US sports viewing public. NHL is boring as **** to watch? I have tried 4 or 5 times to make it through a whole NBA game this year, and have yet to succeed. I watched that Kentucky game yesterday, and it was awful...horrible calls, an over-hyped QB, and endless 4 yard runs up the middle. Great stuff.

      I don't get it :dunno:
JML- i think "hockey is boring to watch" is a convenient cliche used by americans......not sure how you can say hockey is boring to watch and then turn around and tell me NBA basketball or MLB is exciting..........it's convenient and cool to bash hockey in the US by a lot of people who don't understand the game....i have friends that are that way who couldn't name 10 players in the league or half the rules, but "it sucks"........

i find it funny that people also think the NFL is so great.......:puke: ....talk about a ****ty product for the most part....i mean on a Sunday with 15 games....MAYBE 3 are worth watching......and over 1/2 the teams in the league can't even find a decent QB to play for them........if it wasn't for fantasy football or gambling, nobody would give a **** about the NFL outside of their own teams.....you think a guy in cincinnati is watching the lions/cardinals game because it's a good product??

gambling definitely runs that machine for sure. I do find myself watching a Detroit/Zona game, cause I need some sort of cover, and I have to laugh to myself sometimes....wtf am I doing? lol.

US College sports, the odd NFL marquee matchup (I always enjoy watching Peyton) and the NHL are definitely the most exciting products IMO. Is there anything better than March Madness? And I'm not even a big hoops fan!

Actually, the MLS broke all kinds of attendance records this year, and I know the Toronto team sold out every game. I went to one game, and had the most fun I've had at a sporting event in some time. I was surprised. But it mighta been the booze! lol.

yeah but that's my point. it has never gotten the attention and probably 4/5 of this country haven't seen a game in the last 5 years, so how can they say it isn't a good product?

the only sports, "IMO" that are worth a **** are the NHL, CBB and CFB and some MLB matchups....i really find the NFL boring as fk and the NBA is just unwatchable....just brutal...which is why i kind of laugh that people will fork out 150.00 to see an abomination of a basketball product but they won't go to an NHL game...it's all perception........
