    NHLRS Friday

have been eyeing this play for a week......

SAN -1..............SAN comes home for the first time in almost 2 weeks. LAK have won 4 of L5 but they beat Vancouver, Nashville, Edmonton and Dallas (only 1 of which i think makes the playoffs) and they lost to probably the team playing the best hockeyof the 5, CBJ in a 4-1 blowout that wasn't that close. SAN has to turn around and play in LAK on Saturday and they have been off since Monday. I like the spot here. I keep waiting to see them play a SAN type home game and hopefully this is the one. LAK are 2-11-1 L14 visits to SAN, as well. If they somehow come up short i will back them Saturday in a double up deal. Willing to take the push at -1, as there is no way i am laying -200+ with them on the ML right now the way they are playing.

I would love to play PHI in WAS, but not as a -130 favorite without Gagne and not with that defense group they have out there. They made a TON of mistakes vs. Montreal. Still don't like the way WAS is playing enough to go the other way. None of the other games really excite me as i expect the favorites to win, but i don't want to pay out the ass for BUF or DAL. And i am done betting TOR games....doesn't matter what side i take they f' me. I think JML phoned in a jinx on me with his team...lol.....

    GL to everyone!

GL on your play(s) tonight. I was eyeing the PHI side tonight, but not sure... -130 is not that fun to lay for the reasons you mentioned. Hopefully when the lines come out at sportsbook.com it'll be for less..
    NFL 17: 45-47-2 // 48.91% // -10.12
    MMA: 247-332-2 // 42.66% // -6.04
    MLB 17: 151-140-8 // 51.89% // +5.65 ROR // +42.13
    NCAAF 17: 63-49-2 // 56.25% // +6.80

          akd, JML, Skins- THX!....

skins- i suck at totals, even when i have the right side on paper, and i suck even worse at trying to figure out even remotely what the TOR are going to do night to night.

I'll tell you who is an over team is PHI when Nittymaki plays. They are allowing a TON of SOG every night. It is getting masked because Biron is stopping everything. They are allowing 34.5 SOG/game which is worst in the NHL right now, just ahead of TOR 34.0 SOG/game. Nittymaki will cough up at least 3 a night facing that many shots. And PHI is really good offensively, though, they are missing their top scorer in Gagne which messes up the line combos. But if i can get an early read on a PHI game where he is in net i am all over it.

What is also interesting about PHI is that they are near the bottom of the league in SOG/gm themselves, HOWEVER, they are #1 in SOG pct. at 13.7%. I guess that means they are getting high quality opportunities or they are just facing some bad goaltending. Gagne is way down this year on SOG, so i really don't understand with all those guys playing well...Lupul, Richards, Gagne, Knuble, Briere etc.. how they can't generate more SOG. Wish they showed a stat on actual scoring chances because i think that is a better stat than SOG. Some guy rips a shot from the blue line and the only guy it could get by is Cloutier and they count that as a SOG.

PHI/WAS Over5 1/2 (only if Nittymaki plays, will check lineups prior to gametime)...........i suck at totals but with PHI playing 3 inexperienced d-men (if you saw the Montreal game last night you know what i mean) and the matchup in net, and their problems allowing SOG (see above) i think this is a 4-3 hockey game. Who wins i can't tell you, but PHI should be good for 3 and Nittymaki usually coughs up 3+ when facing 30+ shots.

also debating EDM -145, but i just am having a hard time laying -150 with the Can as bad as their PP is and as poor as they are offensively, and missing some key D-men. but NAS sucks ass. That win last night "was a fraud"..lol....

          GL to everyone!

i played the PHI Over, but i am brutal on totals and that one is probably down the drain. After seeing Kolzig in net i would rather have the WAS side more than anything, but i will stick with the over as i posted it and i don't want to second guess myself. Honestly, if this loses, i am done with totals...lol...no really this time.
