This is a prime reason of why the NHL sucks....

I am sitting in a hotel room and i can't even get the OPENING night of NHL hockey on TV. Just went to the sportsbar around the corner here in Indy and you would have thought i had asked the guy to find harness racing for me on TVG............:bang: :bang: ....they have to get a better channel for their games......

    stuck watching freeking baseball tonight.....:blackeye:

i think 5 pesos still does that stuff.....i just don't want the hassle anymore of depositing and having to show a passport, D/L, 2 more forms of ID and a note from your mom.....so i haven't redeposited there. playing at carib and sportsbook.com for now....

****....that sucks, FF. Up here it would be hockey on all 20 screens in the bar, and the baseball game on the little one in the corner. Watching the hour pre-game right now :beerbang:

Hopefully you'll be able to catch the Flyers tomorrow...

I agree with FF on that one. The NHL really dropped the ball by not getting in somehow with ESPN. I get about 90% of the Pens games on FSN-Pittsburgh(also in HD by the way) but I would like to see some hockey before Friday :bang:

FF - NHL Network is launching anyday now. They'll have some exclusive games and stuff. Of course not all systems are picking up the channel but it's a sign of things to come. You can also by the NHL Pass for online if you don't mind watching games on your comp. They have the same deal as the MLB package. Mosaic system where you can watch 5 games at once, get fantasy player updates and **** like that. I would get it but I get enough games at home with the Isles, Rangers and Devils plus games on Versus. Within the next two years the NHL will have a regular home most likely with ESPN again.

I don't get this argument, cause I heard it last year too. ESPN declined to renew their contract. The NHL tried to give them a sweetheart deal, anything they wanted....they declined. How is that the NHL's fault? I mean, NBC got a deal with the NHL where they had to pay NOTHING, and just shared Ad revenue. I hear ESPN will be back next year, but it's hard to sell a ketchup popcicle to a TV network with white gloves...

There was a 4 hour "season preview" show on all 3 all-sports TV networks last night for the NHL. We lika da hocki up here...
