I have no facts to support this obviously, but I would almost guarantee in the NFL that there are about 50 other guys who fight dogs regularly. Maybe they don't owner kennels for breeding and do it across state lines and such, but I guarantee there's a rather large underbelly of this especially in the NFL, and probably the NBA too.

I also can't believe that out of 25 votes, half of the people think he'll never play again. That boggles my mind. If OJ Simpson could get in good enough shape, that "killer" would play again, and no one could stop him. There are only two scenarios where he doesn't play again, those being (1) blackballed from the league or (2) life time ban.

The prior will NEVER happen because he's simply too athletic, and the latter is an extreme long shot at best too for legality reasons, IMHO.

and your point is?????? We all know this, ****ed up entertainment, is going on all around the world....Is it right???? I dont think so.... Just because this is happening elsewhere, does that make Vick innocent????? He got caught, and many others got caught before him!!!! Most people did not know how big dogfighting was, until now! :beer2:

whats interesting/funny/ironic/weird is that this is turning into something parallel to what they busted Al Capone for. Not for "mob" activity, but for tax evasion.

I could be wrong, but its simply dressed up here, "gambling across state lines/withholding tax payments."

so instead of being busted for the issue that started all of this, the Feds are going after his tax info.

I dont know enough to presume, but from what I've read, whats the difference? he's not gonna go away as long as Capone from initial reports of him going for a few years for this?
              :dunno:

well Capone went away for 11 years and served 6.5 for good behavior. something tells me Vick will get better if he pleas.

Vick should plead out, if he wasn't in the NFL it would be a no brainer. If he can get 1 year for all of this via a plea its the best thing for him.

However with God-del's stance lately, it is probably the only thing that is a question mark. Remember this is the third "event" for Vick (1) water bottle; (2) flippin' off the fans; (3) dog fighting/gambling.

according to Goodell, gambling's a life-time ban, association or direct involvement, wonder how he will spin it if he backs out on his word?

then again they are being meticulous and very cautious for a reason I bet when the day comes to hand that out to Vick. if it comes to it.

but this only confuses/befuddles me, if Porter and whats his face got into a fight at Vegas at a Blackjack table, was that just "in the presence of gambling" and not association with gambling? :dunno:

                    DOGS RULE.

My 7 year old yellow lab 'Trouble' looks exactly like the pic in my avatar. He's just like yellow dog in the movie Funny Farm and my best pal in the world, sniff sniff. LOL.

You mess with dogs or kids and you are one sick dude.

I don't think he'll try to go back onhis words. If Vick pleads to any kind of gambling charge then I'd say he is done.

I can see the difference between gambling at a poker table were it is legal vrs. gambling on sports vrs. gambling where it is illegal concerning illegal acts.

Nope....for one he's a felon and would not be able to get a work visa in Canada...plus, after the Rickey Williams signing, the league instituted a rule that no NFL player currently under suspension is allowed to play in the CFL from now on...although I liked Rickey as a person...Michael's a psycho, and not welcome in my country...ever.
