Finally got off the schneid with the gut picks. Arizona made me look brilliant. But the story has got to be the Field picks. I did not think that I would get over 70% correct this late in the season. I hope nobody is fading my field picks, but I am probably due for a market correction soon. :sm:

Just a reminder that I make all my picks (early and late games) and post them before the first kickoff on Sunday. Not saying that I am a warlord, just saying that my record keeping is legit.

Week 6 Picks

I am in a festivus mood this weekend. I went to a couple of fall fairs yesterday in the north Georgia Mountains. Nothing spells a good time like a county fair fried sampler platter of fried oreos, fried nutter butters, fried brownies, and fried green beans. Thank God they fry vegetables to add some nutritional value. :laughing:

My name is Brian, and yes, I am the captain of the Titanic. Okay, maybe too much drama there but going 2-4 for my first losing week of the season hurts. At least one of the two wins was the Gut Pick which garners an extra unit.

The Gut is back to even after starting the season 0-4. For such a bad week, I only lost three units overall and I am still up +10 units on the season. Maybe there is a life raft on this barge. :sm:

Hopefully, my first losing week last week will not be contagious. Though my Gut pick is on a four game winning streak. I think the Jets are showing to be a complete team. Gurley is really bringing back the running game, and with their defense, St. Louis is a tough out this year. As always, my bets are 5Dimes bets.

I am so tempted to add SF. The Falcons have been a dumpster fire the last three weeks. I am scared of by the QB carousel in SF. But for some reason I feel better about it this morning. Maybe yes, maybe no.

I guess I will skip an Atlanta bet because it feels like chasing. But with losses to NO and TB and their wins coming against the likes of NYG, WAS, and TEN in narrow comeback wins- a 6-2 record does not sound as strong as it should. Of course I am just a jaded Falcon fan who believes everything is smoke and mirrors. :sm:

Added a Prop Bet

I could not stand not having any money on the Falcon game. I truly believe that SF will cover, but they would have to have help from Matt Ryan. So I went with a 5Dimes prop of Ryan TD's plus interceptions over 2 1/2.

I did not look it up, but Ryan has to be averaging 1 interception per game. And they use the pass to set-up the run so I think there is an above average chance that he will could have 2 TD's and one pick or just 3 TD's if he is rolling.
