Last Week: 6-0
YTD: 38-26-2
Another big card this week, let's hope we can continue cashing!!
St. Louis -1 vs Minnesota. Minnesota is going to be in trouble with this one. A lot of people on Minny, and if you watched the NFL Network this week, you'll see why St. Louis's defense has been playing well vs the run. Yes, AP is going to get his - he's just the best player the NFL has seen in a very long time, best RB, etc. But you're then going to have to force Christian Ponder to beat you - and that's something I'm (and everyone else here in Minnesota) sure will not happen. Last week they were almost dominant vs the Bears, yet only won by seven. Chicago's OL and DL woes were exploited in the first half, and it was scary to see the Vikings wanting to give it away in the second half. I like the PA vs the Vikings secondary, and if STL can limit turnovers, their defense will be able to stop the Vikings.
Tampa Bay +4 at New Orleans - TB just having a great year, while the Saints aren't. I can see this landing on the line today, but TB can run the football, and boy the Saints cannot stop it. TB playing better defensively, and of course the Saints will have a big morale boost after the Bountygate was finalized, but these two teams play each other tough. I'll take the points in the divisional game.
Atlanta -1 vs New York Giants - too much Giants love around the Internet I believe. I just don't see Eli playing well the last half of the season and he's been wildly inaccurate. Matt Ryan will get this done in a vulnerable situation. He should be able to carve up the bad Giants secondary, and even get that running game going with Turner and Rodgers (did I just say that?).
Chicago +2.5 vs Green Bay - I think this one might be getting cute. I might be overthinking myself here, but the public saw the Vikings have their way vs the Bears, so what are the Packers going to do? Yet the line is only ~3? This team isn't last year's Green Bay squad, and this is the best divisional rivalry in the league. You bet your butt the Bears are showing up today with that war of words.
Hafta run, no more time for write-ups. Eek.
Carolina +3 at San Diego
Arizona +6.5 vs Detroit
Pittsburgh -2 at Dallas
All for four units!
