    Yahoo Pro Pick'em

I cant be the only person who's in one of these pools. I cant handicap 16 games. I put big numbers on the ones I like and then guess at the rest. So I came across this "system" where you bet/pick a team that didnt cover that plays a team that did cover. Last year this was 45-35. these are the teams that fit that system for Week 2
Atlanta, Carolina, Cincy, Cleveland, Green Bay, Rams, Houstan.

I only suggest as filler for picks with lower confidence points. Teams like Green Bay and Rams have injury issues so take it with grain of salt.

that being said, I tried to drill into the data and came up with this
Teams that didnt cover and lost as dog the week before and are a dog this week 12-11. Now if I break out home v away I get this

X dl (that's no cover dog lost) and is home, that was 6-3
that's Carolina and Green Bay this week.

X dl as an away dog is 6-8. thats
    LA Ram, Atlanta, Cincy Cleveland.
this not affecting my picks. the only one I'm picking on that list is Cleveland and I dont like it.

so Week 2 the cover v no cover was 4-3. Houston was my 16 pointer not because of this system but because I thought the would push Chicago around and they did. they just forgot to score. anyhoo, these are the teams that fit that system. Again, these are just filler pick for pickem pools

    Week 3

Tenn, Indy, Houston (again), Denver, Carolina, Detroit, KC, Jax, Giants, Philly

KC, Houston, Indy and Detroit are my 7-10 pointers
KC, Houston are away Favs that won as favorites, didnt cover and are road favs. Last year that was 3-1. Not a big sample but for my pickem pool. good enough.
Detroit was a fav that lost and is a road fav was 6-3 last year.
Indy was a fav that lost and is a home fav. That was 12-6. my thought is maybe they shouldnt have been favored but I'm holding my nose and picking them at home.

The rest are just 50-50 but I aint picking Carolina. I have a strong play on NO so I cant even put 1 point on Philly. That leaves Jax, giants, denver and tenn. for small points.

oops almost forgot. If anyone interested these are the cover v no cover picks. last week was 7-3 and of course I picked against 2 of them. My highlighted ones were 3 -1
This week its Dallas , Chicago, Tampa, Cincy, Arizona and chargers.
I dont use it for Thursday but will count in the total. the data says pick against Tampa and the remaining 4 are strong leans ie 7-11 point area.
